In case you missed it: The video starts with the floor puzzle only partly solved with many black/white costumes (with patterns that resemble puzzle pieces) and no orange costumes. As the video progresses, more puzzle pieces appear, more black/white costumes disappear and more orange costumes appear (are the dancers changing costumes?). The last piece of the puzzle, depicting the dove of peace, is Tom Jones himself! We CAN work it (i.e., the puzzle of finding peace) out! High concept!!!

This imitation of the song is beautiful, but also a little thoughtless. The Beatles' own version, which is especially noticeable in the Beatles' clip, is the most successful pairing in songwriting, in terms of seriousness of content (social ethics), friendship in the very best sense (like the Dioscuri - in the end, really) and a composition that simply reaches every intact heart.

Such a beautiful voice and woman. I loved her interview in 20 Feet from Stardom. So much talent, it made me sad to see, after all of her contributions to music, she is now teaching Spanish. Not that there's a thing wrong with being a teacher, but you'd think she'd have been taken care of for all of the people she supported musically. I'll never get it. The backup singers very often make the song but they're not paid accordingly.
