Dolphin Friendly, now commonly known as "Dolph", established their name from the bands motivation to promote strong movement towards environmentalism, ocean sustainability, and social well-being, broadcasting their disregard for the degenerate political systems and corporate mindsets destined to fuck the planet through the selfish greed of economic interests. Less than a year in, the band have found themselves creating a mixture of sounds established on a no-bullshit, hard-pysc, liquid reggae, crunch rock etiquette, performing their art to the people in a wild fashion unseen in NZ bands before. Dolph have continued to drop jaws with their live performances, bringing a new age show of heavy Rock N' Roll antics that one would question are influenced from the likes of rock gods Nirvana and The Doors by their comparable natures on stage, engaging the crowd in sometimes debaucherous mannerisms and "loose" behaviour.
