Yeah I gotta say the Duane part is the best for real
Duane Peters absolutely stole the show, brought the lights down, killed it, nailed it, made the fat lady sing, broke all of our hearts while simultaneously lifting us up into the stratosphere = what a moment that was captured - you just wanted to give him a big hug. What honesty. You know he is telling the truth down to every bone he's ever broken, which are NUMEROUS.
In 1980 - 81 I rode a SantaCruz DuanePeters 5 stripe deck . . .
Does anybody know who did the intro music?
Stacey is like a good uncle.
The constent building single note throughout the whole thing is annoying
Cheers for this Cobba ,Sunday arvo few cones chilling out to this cool ha didn't know this was made seen the interviews mmm! again thank a you.. ........
❤ I still idealize them, “always and forever” much love out to them and thank you
How do you get a good flick for those kind of tricks
It's a combination of the wind up and the flick. I wind up by turning my hand clockwise for the setup, once I grip the board, my thumb is underneath the nose of the board. When I jump, I flick the shit out of it with my thumb. Ultimately it's a matter of practice.
These guys are partly responsible along with the h-street skaters etc… for my entire reason for why I started skating back in the day
The sound sucks
O M G, I just finished watching Duane's part and can't stop crying. Holy shit! I've never heard someone put it in words so perfectly the reason we skate. Even though I haven't skated in years and just got a board at almost 50 yrs old. Free. This is what I've been missing all these years. A true feeling of freedom. Everything else melts away when I'm on my board. Ok, this was a way too long off a comment... my bad.
Duane is the core of the sport forever!
Wait... Are you saying you need a lapper? That would be cool. No more hangup either.
siiiccck
Thank you!!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for uploading this.
The sound mix was arranged by a deaf man with 13% vision left in one eye, completely missing the good eye, on a FXE-100 with the buttons and dials put in randomly different places, on a pogo stick). Just sayin'.
"I should have sponsered you." Man. Duane on bones brigade would have been so sick. He probably would have knocked out half the team and quit but those 3 months would have been great.
He was a fine skater, but I disagree. I don't think he would have meshed at all with the team dynamic. He came from total individualist approach. Not to mention the fact that the featured Brigade guys were not into the drugs, drinking etc. That's pretty much all Duane did.
Jim Fitzpatrick hooked me up with a set of wheels and three shirts for sending in a video. I had a huge flatspot in my video so I knew he actually watched it. THANKS JIM!!!!
Stacy made some life changing artful things with his video editing talent. Not to mention all his passion and crew of skateboarding.
AWESOME ... THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES !!! AWE INSPIRING ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a ride... THANKS!
I wonder what happened to all the boards they used as props.Would love to have some of them.
I always loved the way skaters cheer each other on man. Solid dudes slaying shit. How could you not dig that?
IMO best part of these interviews: Mike McGill (obviously aware of the irony): “What am I going to do? What am I going to be known for?”
DUANE !!!!!
The dramatic way this is done sets off a negative vibe everyone's a millionaire victim
What a great contribution to the story of “OUR” lives and my skateboard “HEROS” by Stacey, George, and All the members of Bones Brigade!#THANKYOU#🛹❤️🤘🏻
thx for purchasing

I love skate boarding
This interview really makes me love Duane Peters even more! ❤❤❤❤Makes me cry ever time. Hits my heart!
He routinely acts like a child and alienates himself from everyone.
I'm currently in tears because I just saw his interview
The Duane interview is incredible, man he says it all when he talks about what skateboarding means to him.
The dopamine boost you get from flying on a vert ramp or landing something you have been trying for days or weeks; pretty satisfying. Especially when your friends are cheering you on.
It's funny, the only two skateboarders that have given me chills when they talk about their love for skateboarding and what it means to them are Rodney Mullen and Duane Peters. Total polar opposites but deep down share the same love of skateboarding.
@@SLAPSHQDuane gives me chills alright. He’s sub-clinical.
@@brianmcdowell540Except sometimes it takes so much pain and misery to land certain tricks, that you're pissed off when you land because it took you so long.
@@brianmcdowell540Without a doubt! I remember exactly when and where I was when I pulled off my first frontside air! So satisfying to finally making it and wiring it.
BOOOOOOOOM U DID IT !!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is incredible. Thanks so much!!!

This song goes so fucking hard. First time I heard it I thought it was strange. But it grew on me once I heard it live.
