This sounds like doublespeak Thousands of children have been saved through Vacation Bible school ! It is not a "methodology" it is teaching the Gospel. What is not mentioned here very much is SALVATION. Discipleship is seemingly being touted above being saved. AND BEWARE of "COMMUNITY!" This is an occultic ploy to bring all faiths together thought it pretends to be fundamental. Community is bringing in the One World church. All of what I heard tonite on this video shows me that was is lacking was Scripture verses. Rather, its the 'cultivation' of Community. Also beware of Spiritual Formation which pushes "community'. Yes he said a few good things in this video but it sounds like the Church is getting too close to secular rhetoric sprinkled with Christianity. NO, ITS NOT COMMUNITY THAT "FORMS" CHILDREN . Beware of "Spiritual Formation" which teases of Christianity but its all about being 'formed' by what we DO. This is not Biblical. We are formed through the Scriptures alone after salvation in Christ. Yes we need Christian support through people, but COMMUNITY is not above the Scriptures! Also there is an occultic agenda "New Beginnings" in the Church today which wants to eradicate the old ways and bring in the "new" ways RUN FROM THIS ! The New Thing is to 'build lasting faith in children." Really? Is this our job? or the Holy Spirit? And again 'discipleship' was mentioned numerous times where salvation was barely mentioned! And RUN from the Barna Group and the Fuller Youth Institute! We are "all working together to form identity?" No, we are not! . We are to give out the Gospel! And again WE do not 'build' faithfulness in children! ITS THE SCRIPTURE AND THE GOSPEL !

This is a great initiative, Children’s ministry should be prioritized in this time more than ever before… keep up the good work!

I am only hearing about Sundays. You can't maintain a relationship with a child one hour a week They need to see Jesus in you all week long, on other ministry days. Wednesday is our big KidMIn day. We have kids coming from all over town, and we have the very best volunteers being Jesus to our kids through meaningful relationships. David Kinnamon really had an impact on me as he showed how critical a relationship with a loving, caring adult other than their parents.

July 22, 2020- I always need prayer for my 13 year old daughter, going into 8th grade. COVID-19 has been very tough for her in regards to being with her friends at school and enjoying her independence away from home through after school sports and activities. We are just chilling at home

I am watching this after the live viewing, so I don't have any chat comments about how churches are doing different things to keep going. So how does a club night look? What are ya'll doing to keep going?

Where are the crowd surfing videos? Would like to use these in the fall.

I believe Awana's emphasis and focus on the 3 shapers of identity; Belong, Believe, Become, is right on track. Our kids need more than a head knowledge of the Bible. They must learn how to live like Christ.

To sum up, use technology in your clubs. More than half of the time was spent in introduction and discussing the Resilient principles, which are important and needed, but this was promoted as "what your club might look like in the fall, and how to adapt your program." I appreciate the practical insight from the missionaries. The chat comments with specifics about what clubs are doing now were more useful than the video as a whole.
