4:15 You blinked mans a owl how can he blink.
Love this dialogue…this exchange is so calm and yet hits hard 1:57
Did Batman finally break the rule?
Thomas Wayne went through a mental breakdown too. He kept saying "it doesn't matter" too
2:39 Tried to hit that man with the Diddy Mist. 💀
“You blinked” is one of the hardest lines ever delivered
Owlman is probrably one of the most dangerous beings that is a threat to the Multiverse due to his ideology, next to other great multiversal threats like Kang, the Time Eater and of course, the Anti-Monitor!
Really loved how Owlman explains how the multiverse works, of course, there are other ways besides the choices we make that create parallel earths, such as dreams, ideas and imagination create whole new worlds, as anything that exists in comics, TV shows, films and/or games, somewhere out there is exists on their own world.
I hate this premise for three reasons: 1. Infinite possibilities mean this can't be the first or last time someone like owlman's tried this. Granted arguably time travel has a similar logically fallacy, but they kinda shot themselves in the foot by making everything tied to a single point in the multiverse. 2. Why does the universe, or even the multiverse, revolve around the earth specifically? There are more alien civilizations in the DC universe then star wars, civilizations OLDER then humanity included beings like darkseid. How does free will only exist 'with humans' Why do only humans make multiple realities? It comes across as pretentious about human existence while simultaneously and paradoxically nihilstic about humans, owlman's arguments don't make sense with the context of the DC universe. I mean for fucks sake we have the lantern corps, superman, green martian, etc. And those all exist in his reality, in his team. 3. How does destroying earth prime destroy every earth? PRime is already shown to be a lifeless rock, they seem to be conflating time travel with parallel universe? But it doesn't make any logical sense. It shouldn't matter whether or not there is no longer an earth prime because the decisions that created the other realities were already made before prime earth became lifeless. If earth prime somehow magically affects everything regardless of time then what happens when the sun eventually explodes? Shouldn't that retroactively wipe every earth out anyway? How come humans still exist in other realities but not in earth prime? What happens to earthlings that aren't on earth when prime is wiped out? Do they just no longer exist? That falls back into the issue of what happens when the sun explodes and retroactively erases all other timeline. It makes no sense.
it revolves around earth because that’s where all life in the universe originated in DC also unsure if the lanterns exist in earth 3. The closest representative is a guy who isn’t part of any lantern corps
First he stole Peter Griffins identity now Batmans. James Woods must be stopped
IT GIVES ME A ITACHI VS SASUKE UCHIHA MOMENT
i must admit thats some good last word before dying 04:46
Why that look like the turrets from portal 😂
Keep in mind Batman is fighting with broken ribs already
so basically two rich guys deciding for the rest of us again..................
Except Batman genuinely cares for humanity.
Batman's gadgets and wealth don't define his character, just saying if you're not joking.
You know what would be hilarious in this instance and makes sense? This is prime earth, so considering that there is an infinite number of universes, shouldn't there be a bunch of alternate batman and Owl Man showing up. And since there's two humans there, making decisions that universe should be split in two, so there should be a bunch more prime earths now, which would then not be primers anymore, but there would still be an owlman and a batman fighting to destroy the planet, which is no longer the prime. So, for every decision they made, there's a reality split. Does that mean that there would also be a split reality for the Justice League waiting for batman to show back up? Or would multiple batman come back to the same reality?
The thing that I find hilarious about this is that owlman is saying the only choice that could ever actually make a difference was to end everything. This is because, for every choice he makes, another version of him will make the opposite, making any choice he makes meaningless. But the choice he's making in that regard is still meaningless. The universe was somehow created that didn't involve humans. The universe is likely to be remade again, with humans again, bringing it full circle.
Amazing scene! I'm surprised that Batman doesn't mention the existence of life on other planets, though. If every human action creates a world, wouldn't other species on other planets that came before man have done the same?
Why is Owlman's voice kinda sexy though...? 😳🔥
If this, to you, is the "Most racist moment in cartoon history", all I can say is (1) you have led a very sheltered life, and (2) you really should stop producing videos on topics you know nothing about (to be on the safe side, maybe you should stop producing videos, period). As it currently stands, the clip's title simply sounds like a very cheap clickbaiting gimmick. And 8,000 views but only 86 "likes"? That should tell you something right there. I only wish we could see how many thumbs down you got.
Why didnt superman go in though?
GOD, HIS VOICE ACTOR IS SO GOOOD HE IS AMAZING
Owl 🦉 man is right
Earth prime makes no sense cause with the first thought Earth prime was split in two, how do you then determine which one was the original 🤔. A choice isn't yes or no. Not doing anything is considered as the decision as not doing something.
That moment when you realize that this movie had the biggest stakes since Owlman wanted to destroy the entire DC multi-verse
If owl man wants to destroy the multiverse, wouldn’t the Parrel universe of him wants to protect the universe. Owl man:It doesn’t matter.
How is this racism?
I love that reference to Nietzsche when he said "we both looked in the abyss". Great parallel.
12193 Kenton Camp
They both looked into the abyss but when it looked back owl man blinked
Owlman came to the decision to destroy the multiverse precisely because he believed that it was the only possible action that one could take that would have any purpose. The moment owlman realized his action didn’t have any true ramifications , was when he realized he had a choice in deactivating the bomb hence why he didn’t even save himself. saying the famous quote (it doesn’t matter) cause his choice literally did not the matter. The moment owlman arrived on the earth prime then it was no longer earth prime. because Once he entered the Earth Prime that's the center of all existences, his free will would have started spawning off parallel universes, of different outcomes in this battle … infinite realities mean infinite possibilities . So I guess you definitely can say his plot was doomed to begin with.
1:32 that was cute af!
Lee Ruth Perez Nancy Gonzalez Susan
Brooooo he’s literally me!!!!
Batman just broke his code
The fact that pwl man realized at the end that this was not prime earth and his last words were it doesn't matter.. what writting.. due to the constant brancing infoye timelines he could bever reach prime earth..
My free will say's FUCK YOU, very much.
Is that James Woods voicing Owlman?
@@benjin0311 Yup.
Batman: "We both looked into the abyss, but when it looked back at us...you blinked!"

I remember watching this movie as a kid and that last “it doesn’t matter” always stuck with me. I had never seen a villain so cold and nihilistic before, one that didn’t care to win and stuck to his beliefs to the very end. Owlman is genuinely such a great villain and James Woods played him perfectly.
Was Batman losing to Owlman on purpose to throw him off-guard? It was pretty one sided. Once the plan worked and Batman changed the coordinates, he was doing much better.
I’ve always said the scene is underrated and they should find a way to incorporate the crime syndicate in the DCU
Way better than The Batman Who Laugh's.

*Sees video in Recommended* Me: “I’ve already seen this scene 1000 times, great movie, no need to see it again” *Me re-thinking about the whole plot of the movie and Owlmans words about the opposite choice already made in a separate universe* “ Ehhh….. it doesn’t matter” *clicks video*
