The focusing was bad for the R6 in the videos. The depth of field was probably razor thin, so most of frame looked blurry, plus it looked like it was hunting. It's hard to tell the difference between the cameras in these examples, but I am sure if these are tested for a larger variation of shooting environments, like outdoors where there are trees and more detail to capture as well as low lights, the R6 will produce a better image quality overall.

The m50 is pretty sharp, lookin at others photos I forgot How sharp my photos were , I literally wouldn’t get a sharper image on many of my photos with other cameras I’d say, since I took them under good conditions . I do want to upgrade though and might sell it with a few lenses and batteries . I won’t be doing canon though , I don’t think the r6 is special and funnily the Nikon z6 has better Image quality then many of the canons . Nikon lenses are better too than canons Id say, Nikons colors are better and the system would be a better system to buy into . It’s funny since that camera came out around the same time as the m50 I believe and it’s a better system, it was much more expensive to get into though . The m50 is a good camera though

Video test is irrelevant. Once you start to shoot more complex scenes, like a tree, a landscape, anything which is further than 2-3 meters, the M50 has an extremly poor quality at 1080p. I know because i have one and i regret buying it.

There is NOTHING wrong with standard RF glass. I have the 16mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 24-105 f4-7.1, and the 100-400 all used on the R5. I think the main difference like you said is a lower F stop on L glass so better performance in low light. So the pendulum swings just a little wider on the L glass. I've shot weddings, live music performances, and a ton of motorsports with great results. Nice tips, keep up the videos and good production quality!

I'm buying a mt07 this weekend I personally love the bike expctualy the sound. I started on a mt03 so I know why you put a windshield on it but I think mt07 will be good upgrade.

9:22 indeed im still using a lot of EF lenses and i am not going to swap my EF 70-200mm II IS USM to RF because then i cant use my extenders anymore. Sawping would mean a lot of more expenses. I love my Sigma Art 30mm f1.4 and i am glad to be abel to still use it, just need to do few changes in menu to get ride off rings at picture and you are good to go. Only RF lenses i have currently are Canon L 15-35mm f2.8, Canon L macro 100mm f2.8 and 7artists 10mm f2.8 full manual lens (can recommend)

One thing i will say for taller riders as I am 6'4" leave it naked no windshield will help and its better to just take the wind in the chest versus getting your head buffeted and thrown around

Too low rpm and too little throttle. For this low rpm you shoul clutch up or go higher rpm and at least two times more throttle.

Just did the 16K mile (spark plugs) service on my 19 XSR 700. Although I have done a few mods (Ohlins rear shock) the bike is 100% awesome and would have been fine stock if I could keep it out of the Canyons. Michelin Road 5s (come factory on 2022) and oil changes, it feels like the thing will run forever and never get boring, but if something happened to it tomorrow I’d go get another one just like it.

Emphasis on the seat being bad. It’s literally the worst. If you ride over 50 mins rip to your ass. Otherwise everything is dope! Oh and it can get a little light and shaky at higher speeds. Think 80+ and the wind is pushing you around. Great bike though all around!

If you are using back button autofocus consider that unless you take autofocus off the shutter release the focus you set with the back button will change when you trigger the shutter to take and image.

I found a 2016 fz07 with 4K miles they want 6,800 I think that’s expensive for an old bike what do you think ? I really want a cb650r but would get one of these for a good price or xsr or trident 660

I have used the M50 for awhile now. It is absolutely fantastic in good light. I have made several great videos with it. Absolutely the best bang for you buck, In good light. In low light. Yikes! In my opinion, turning up the ISO any higher than 400 introduced grain that was hard to take out in post. Made the pictures soft. When trying to add sharpening they would take on a deeply edited/ artificial look. I recently (3 days ago) bought an R6 from B&H. It arrived today. So looking forward to really trying it out. I was surprised to see a video on RUclips that covered the exact 2 cameras that I have. I will not be getting rid of my M50. It is a fantastic camera. Especially since I only paid $400 for mine.

Really good video Jacob. Simplified for the average Joe who is just starting out with the Canon R6 especially those who just jumped into photography and decided to use the R6 as their first camera. Maybe a longer version Jacob and not just the tips and shortcuts on how to use the R6? Again the purpose of which is to reach out to those who maybe new with the Canon system, the RF system or just new to photography in general. Like I've mentioned I like how you simplify things which makes the whole approach to transitioning to mirrorless cameras less intimidating. Will be watching more of your videos in the future Jacob! Nice video. Subscribed. I bought the m50 first and it worked perfectly, however the store told me that there are not many lenses for it, and it’s going to be discontinued soon. I did notice most of the differences in the photos. Plus I want something that is full scale, going to last longer, more professional etc. M50 is not that bad though.
