I'm not sure what problem you are referring too. I never played with apparel except for the occasional Showdown. Even then, I only used something to enhance my driver distance, so my numbers were accurate across game modes. But I also just won credits to buy the equipment. I didn't spend money on the game.

That would only be applicable on Arcade and Pro settings. On Tour and SIM settings, extra spin and power boost are not allowed. This is a SIM settings tutorial. Hence no option for extra spin control.

Glad you are enjoying it! To answer your question, most tournaments or stroke play, does not have apparel. That's why the only apparel I wear is for driver and 3w distance during showdowns. I don't want it affecting any of my other mapped numbers.

From the back tees in the Champion tier, not sure that can be done. There are several fairways you can't even reach. Maybe from the front tees.
