If your door does not stay up 1/4 of the way up, halfway up and 3/4 of the way up your door is not ballanced correctly which means your custom springs are incorrect, that will cause strain on your motor bc it is having to lift more of the doors weight to make the motor work

I live in the Midwest, my garage door is just a normal embossed door. It is white, it’s 8’ high and it’s a 3 car garage. Most important it’s an insulated, fully laminated door and it has a Liftmaster door opener with MyQ.
