I honestly hate how when I'm swinging my sword at an enemy and the fox from the fox follower mod will sometimes get in the way and then Inigo and Serana start attacking the fox and then I have to run away so then their attack "command" is overridden by the follow command. Past that, Inigo is my best friend and I will treasure him forever. I also remember meeting Cicero when he was taking the Night Mother to the Dark Brotherhood. I had no clue who the jester was, and I agonized for about 20 minutes before begrudgingly reporting him to the guard nearby. When I met him at the brotherhood, I felt extremely bad and so I didn't really talk to him, opting to avoid him as much as I could in case he recognized me. I ended up saving him after all the stuff went down and now he's me second favorite follower

Played this game since I was around 10 years old (I think) and never knew this.

I'm less annoyed that Lucien died, and more annoyed by _how_ he died. That's just unfair man....

_This_ is why I love Oblivion. The graphics aren't the best, but the quests and interactions are so damn good. NPC to NPC dialogue aside, of course. Edit: Fixed a typo that implied the graphics were the best. :/

I find it strange that you can do that but bring his diary there, proof that he is the Traitor, doesn't let you do anything with it. The head and the diary are in the same room and your meant to read the thing. Literally anyone who was trying to find proof of who the traitor is would have taken the diary over the head.

never playing Oblivion myself i don't know if these clips seem more or even less weird not knowing the context they are in :D these clips however do well on distracting my cia agent though

The voice actors for Oblivion are so terrible but I love it. But damn this came out around the same time as Mass Effect. It's a shame that a PS1 game came claim to have better talent on the voices (Metal Gear Solid) so I don't want to hear about technological limitations. I understand using a single voice actor an entire race makes it easier to record such large quantities of dialog for multiple individuals in one sitting but if you chose that route you could have picked the very best talent for each race and some of the races share a voice actor anyways. "Wait wait let me do that one again..." This was released in 2006, expansions in 08. GTA 4 was released in 2008 but had a longer development cycle. Why such a gap in voice work? I know the developer was not budget concerned because they were also working on Fallout 3 and had purchased the rights to the Fallout series from Black Isle. I think they would rather keep the voice work in-house instead of hiring actors to come in. Cheap bastards. Or maybe they spent all their cash on Liam Neeson and Patrick Stewart. Wes Johnson did a great job as Sheogorath. But he also voiced most of the Imperials, the Imperial Arena announcer, Lucian Lachance. Same case for Haskill. He is voiced by Jeff Baker. Jeff Baker has voiced all of the Redguards. Hilarious but he was also Jiub, Sheogorath and Dagoth Ur in Morrowind.

Funny how the voice actors were literally the same personality for every character they played.

In all my years of playing Elder Scrolls games, I have never been more emotionally invested in a quest line than oblivions dark brotherhood. The family, Lucian, walking into this room to find him like that. Ah man the twist and turns of this game still give me chills. It breaks my heart that you had to purge the sanctuary. Such an amazing game. Beloved quirks and all.
