Cat Evans Life
Добавлен 31 авг 2016
I am Catherine Evans and welcome to my channel! Although I am an artist, maker and content creator, this label does not define me. I studied Art & Design, specialising in Interior Design with a particular interest in Feng Shui and architecture. I play and compose music for piano, synth and percussion, mostly in the Solfeggio Scale. A Food, Farming & Natural Lifestyle Activist and an Ambassador for foodfindershub.co.uk, I am interested in nutrition, health and wellbeing and spirituality. I am also a bit of a foodie, and often weave these subjects into my narrative. Much of my inspiration is drawn from history, folklore & legends, haunted happenings and the natural and spiritual worlds, and my husband Dan and I often like to vlog interesting days out!

Lunch at the COSY CAT CAFE!
The Cosy Cat Cafe in Herne Bay was the first of its kind to open in Kent where visitors can enjoy a beverage and a bite to eat whilst interacting with the 14 resident rescue kitties. The venue is run by the lovely Christeen Norfolk, who has been involved in cat rescue for over 40 years. She opened the cafe in 2018 following a boat trip for rescue cats in Amsterdam inspired her to start up a similar concept and to help more cats in need. Since the pandemic numbers of visitors have dwindled and with rising costs she was forced to announce to patrons that the cafe would be closing last June, but regulars suggested she start a fundraiser to help it survive. Since her plight was reported in th...

@@AlmostOffGridGrandma yes thank you, we did. We saved a lot on the 90l bags of bark and we got the Farrow & Ball paint for a really good price too. We live in a period property and F&B is usually the only brand I choose as it is guaranteed colourfast for 6 years, glides on like a dream (the coverage is fab and it dries flat) and the range of colours are most sympathetic to period homes. xxx

@@jamiesrockandsoul hey bro, thanks so much! St Davids is a beautiful spot in Wales. I am crazy about ancient and historical architecture and especially of the sacred type. Hi Krista, thanks so much for watching, my dear friend and yes, that's right, it's a Go Pro. I'm neurodivergent and a bit of a technophobe though I do like gadgets and learn the ropes fairly quickly so Dan will be steering me through the basics. I will soon get the hang of it. @catevanslife lt is a shame when the magna carta was set up to protect this (his?) realm? When everything is subjected to globalist agenda
What is your rememedy for fybromyalgia serotonin definitely involved especially with Asperger's heds and gloomy weather lowers this😊
I am still taking arsenicum album LM3 potency as I even have low tolerance to natural remedies. The Ars Alb has enabled me to tolerate a few things better and it is now nearing the end of its use. I endeavour to keep moving and keeping weight off by taking gentle exercise such as a walk, a bit of gardening or dancing to my favourite disco tracks around the house, which also helps to speed up metabolism and release those happy vibes. I eat healthily avoiding food additives and processed foods as much as possible, cooking from scratch, home baking, sprouting, fermenting etc. It is also important to take enough rest and not overdo things every day.
@catevanslife That's so true do you have fybromyalgia to? Also do you have hypermobility
@Truerealism747 yes and yes. Xx
@@catevanslife same as myself then diagnosed originally CFS neurosthenia 27 years ago does the pain deal like migraine in the muscles why ime sure it's migraine have you done sleep apnea test awaiting mine
@Truerealism747 yes to the muscular but no to apnea testing tho I do know I have sleep apnea. I have as little to do with the NHS and "medical professionals" as I possibly can. I do suffer from time to time from inflammation of the sacratuberous ligament (was diagnosed 6 years ago) but not for a long while now thanks to my various lifestyle tweaks, though do get lower back pain and sometimes in knees and ankles due to wear and tear - I was a dancer and worked on my feet for many years and arthritis runs in the family.
All done a while ago.
Great stuff! 🙂

I have signed the Pledge. I like Nick, he is clear and concise and has the drive to strive forward ! All leaders need to have an ego but need to learn when to reign it in. It would be comforting for UKIP & TR to work together so The People have a fall back position should Farage become too fond of the limelight and let us down with his new version of the Tories . . .

The trouble is "they" think its "us" cracking down on human rights.... and loads of gullible people believe "they" are justified in breeching "theys" rights to achieve their idea of freedom. Always revers the rules you want to make to see if it works no matter who is "them" and who is "us"

Good stuff. Very clear that the UK needs some kind of unified Bill of rights. UK has possibly about 5 years left. After that the window will rapidly close, likely for ever.

There's certainly some history and stories to be told from those old pubs 🙂Lovely walk about the town, where ever it is. I noticed so many roofs that were full of green moss. Do people not try to keep their roofs clear of that so as to prevent decay?
@@AlmostOffGridGrandma we've had such a lot of wet weather, Krista. We have our gutters cleared out at least once a year and this year is the first time plants were growing in them in the 8 years we've been here! It's the same at many houses on our street. We will be having new gutters next year as ours are worn out. I have noted to get them fixed next spring when the worst of the high winds and rain have gone. It's not easy here either in Thanet finding reliable tradesmen and those from elsewhere in Kent are a lot pricier and not necessary reliable either. We have a couple of good local tradesmen, older boys, and they are both in high demand. Xxx
@@catevanslife I think that it is the same all over when it comes to qualified and reliable tradesmen that are a reasonable price. I can certainly see why seeds would take hold on some of the roofs full of moss that I saw. That is a lot of rain.

@@growjoyfullyhomestead losing a mother is one of the most profoundly distressing and painful things we endure. Our mothers give us life and are our closest connection to the Divine Feminine. When I lost my mum in Feb 2020 I suffered deep trauma, including the period leading up to her death, and many moons passed before I began to heal from the sorrow and PTSD. Then this June I lost my stepmum and so with both mothers gone, and my dad, and both my grandmothers long gone, it is the end of an era and I have nobody left but my blended siblings and at the moment we are all flailing around like the torn roots of a damaged tree, certain of us coping better than the others but all endeavouring to process grief in our own ways. But all roots gradually heal with time and it is important to just be and have no expectations. Much love I send your way. ❤️
