Try not to use a vehicle that is the same size as the vehicle that you're towing
Tires are flat. So it's not going to move up on to the ramp. Unless you do it from the front, which is easier to do.
how did you manage to change your controller layout settings? im unable to lower the flatbed on my Xbox😢
on PS4 there is a bug its L2 R2 and not up and down like on the hud thanks for your video it try with the triggers and its working

Considering this game is generally just a fun non-competitive game, the amount of people who decide if they can't beat you in 1-2 races they're just going to spend the next 1-2 races trying to wreck you before quitting is insane. I was going for the plat the other night and was in a lobby where the host couldn't even beat the AI and was generally fine doing his own race while I steamrolled the AI to rack up online wins. A 3rd player joins and is generally fast enough to beat the AI but I still beat him comfortably by 10+ seconds every race without needing to hit him atall. So after I won 5 in a row with him in the lobby he decided that for the next 2 races if he couldn't keep up after 1st corner ramming me, at a certain point in the race he would just stop and go into backwards driving mode just to try and get me around a corner then chase me forward again into a corner ram. Then for the final 2 races decided to go full blown salt and use the big rig to try and wreck me going backward from the first corner or the bus to literally block off entire roads so I would smash myself up trying to drive through him everytime.

@@trentwolter208 bro please hopefully your still playing this game..I can't get any if these fuwking tow trucks to actually work on my Xbox one x series..no buttons nothing..it took me 30 mins ti finally actually realize for the crane you have to press x fo it to work but be in park..how come none of these towing trucks or beds work at all..im stuck on a level and basically at a stand still
@@NorcalChef209 same console same problem. it will only extend but will not lower. for this flatbed and the other option. crane options is the only thing that works. isit perhaps a bug? i have realised that the video controller settings are different but i can not find a way to adjust or alter the layout other than the 4 options they give.

Its a cool addition and far more realistic than towing vehicles by winch but too difficult to actually use imo
At least it somewhat works. The unique one on the Tatra Force is useless. The weight lifts the trucks front tires up, causing the truck to struggle when steering. Tier list: Winching Articulated Bed Craning vehicle into sideboard bed Ramped Flatbed Tatra Force towing platform

sorry for the late reply. I would say its worth it. Not sure how other platforms are, but the steam version always has lobbies up. Every server has their own rules. Some servers want you to race cleanly. Others dont care if you drive a bus backwards and crash into people. The server this clip was on, and the one I mainly play on is CreepFactor. That server is full at least once a day in the afternoons, and it's not too hard to get into. Rules are pretty lax, as long as you dont use hateful language or drive backwards/block/ambush. Other servers include the Black Flag family of servers. Servers 1 and 2 are clean racing. Server 3 is no backwards driving. Server 4 is a free for all. There are other servers out there aside from the ones I have mentioned. If you play this game with friends, you can have many hours of fun. I'd say get it on steam (for some reason steam, epic, and microsoft versions all have separate servers, no crossplay), and if you happen to join the CreepFactor server, you just might see me there.

A generator is provided as a reward for completing Supply Depot. You would need to complete that mission to gain access to the supply depot to generate the metal beams. I have a walk through of it on my channel as well.
