@@kernjames Thanks! I also see Drooker as a great graphic Designer. But I guess in the end I hope I am bringing a lot of his gifts into my books. Remembering how he handles certain situations. Taking a moment to look around in a scene, so the audience can get a feel for the world you are creating.

@@RandomActsofCartooning You have your own style. An issue I struggle with is how myself as a cartoonist always gets compared to other cartoonist of similar style. Then the critics go on to actually want me to be exactly the same as someone they admire, such as R. Crumb, in my case. Often it is a fellow artist that wants me be a cartoonist clone of Crumb or whomever. How can anyone be a Clone of Crumb? Maybe I could copy his drawing style, but I could never copy his machinations and perspective on the world. Nor do I want to copy his slant on the world. I don't know if you struggle with that same issue of others wanting you to emulate Drooker in every way possible, but I get it, if you do. I want to be me, and not some other guy.

@@kernjames Yeah, I don’t see a lot of Drooker in me but I’m a little Kirby, Kane, Ploog, Starlin, and Byrne. That’s just my comic book/graphic novel style. All this artists were compared to so many of their influences too. We all wind up being ourselves eventually.

Thanks for watching! It's a Pentel Arts Sign Pen Brush, Black Pigment Ink. It's a nice marker and I use it for broader lines than my fountain pen. Then I go to the Pentel Art Pocket Brush for dry brush lines.

Thanks so much! I try to do a variety of sketch work on the channel. I like going out and drawing from life as well as cartooning from my imagination. I do digital and traditional illustration. If you see a popular character, I just check if the costume is pretty close to correct. All the posing and situations are mine. I try to give viewers the best experience of how I work at conventions.

There are few big budget family movies nowadays. They should have done the big push for 8-18 year olds.

@@RandomActsofCartooning there was a whole campaign against this movie, in an alternate universe the same movie is celebrated as Marvel’s big return to form. It was the comic book movie I wanted all my life and definitely a hit with the youth, Kamalas presence made for fresh and critical dynamics
