Good analysis. Listening to music is a very personal thing. I listen to a very wide variety of music and could give a rip what people think about what I listen to. And I certainly don’t need a summary of what I’ve been listening to in the last year. Analyzing what I listen to is meaningless to me. Back in the day 50 years ago, I buy a record put it on. Enjoy the artwork and read who played what instrument and who else they may have been involved with musically. Now, with this new way of listening, I find it sort of sad. I know I am old school, but so be it. With that said, I find Spotify insanely easy to listen to music, especially with the endless library. Music is a miraculous language that crosses all cultural boundaries, it moves my soul and makes me feel. We as humans have many moods and music can help us in enhance those moods. Certainly do not care what other people think about what you listen to. Embrace your feelings.

Honestly if me being in the 0.05% of global listeners for Sign Of Life by Motionless In White and being in the top 2% of Motionless In White listeners makes me cringe, so be it!!! I wanted them to be number one because I love them and I wanted them to be number one!!! I honestly didn't know people literally are listening to Spotify based off of the wrapped that other people get. That's so boring!!! Don't be afraid to be WEIRD!!! Weird is fun!!! Next year, I'm aiming for EPICA!!! Cause I love Epica.
