Thanks for the video. I ordered and received mine yesterday. The only issue I had was with the posted link to order the kit. I had to go to his website. The link you posted is up for sale. Complete kit w/cover $130. I had been wanting one for a while. I just didn’t want to pay $300.

I got 100%. I still race my T-jets. The TV problem was at my friend's house and at the time I could not understand why we could not race if his parents were home, LOL

Hi Jim, I also have that kit now. I know that there aren’t that many parts but I’m struggling to figure out where some of the parts go! 🙈. There are some parts that look like engine detail but perhaps not? As we all know, all the white kits come with absolutely no instructions or guidelines as to where the parts should go. I was wondering whether you managed to find any instructions on the web? Kind regards Lewis

I’ve heard people call the FC-130 motor a “C” can motor. I think they are mistaken. Do you have any input on this? I’m pretty sure the C-can is something different. Thanks for the video though!

Short and sweet! :) It's worth noting that not all motors come with the wires already attached, especially those with the other motor (more like the Hudy motor). I think the remaining stock at 132slotcar has the Hudy style motor. The easiest way to install an axle is to pull the band over one side of the bracket, pop the axle in, and then stretch the band over the wheel and onto the pulley. :)

Hey Jim I got one from Greg and for what I need it for my Carrera cars it does a great job better than running the rear tires on a piece of sandpaper and with this I can true the front tires also great video

At The Race Place in South Daytona Florida , we use Pro-Track Daytona tires coated with Silicone. We have a guy that coats them by hand. They are the preferred tires on the wood Charlotte Roval magnetic braids with a max. downforce of 250 on Magnet Marshal.

Going from a 13 pinion to a 12 would increase the acceleration and would be quicker. If you are just talking about lowering top speed, your statement makes sense.

I bet Stu Koford is soiling his draws. I say stick a dagger in those expensive brushed open motors. The cost over the last 15 years has gotten sick.

Ty for info on the Mercedes GT3. Ill get the AW for magnetic braid wood track. Our Downforce max is 250.

Well described Jim. I'm all in on the M4, looking at ways mod a carrera or other means (absent of shapeways now 😢), so maybe this. I too, am not the best at doing 'white kits' as I'm a technical guy, making them run great, but painting the Rowe Racing livery with decals is an option. Glad you put this out there. Tony

Hi Jim, could you tell me the specifics of the aluminum tube that you make/cut yourself please. Diameter, outer and inner and length. Also what glue you use to secure it, thanks.
