Wait you couldve just saved an in game replay of getting Cool in Stage 3. Anyways the way this game is designed is still pretty baffling to me still. On one hand they made just beating the game very easy but what it expects from you to trigger the chance to get Cool is frustrating. I still don't get the stupid thing the game often does when it decides to change the next line the instructor says for no good reason. Not to mention throwing you back by two lines when you go down a rating but throws you ahead by two lines when you recover from it. Personally I'll always prefer Um Jammer Lammy over this game and I don't get how much that game gets overlooked especially how there are people that know about Parappa but have no clue about Lammy?

Ive only gotten cool mode 2 times but I finished both the songs with it

PTR2 cool is really difficult, but as someone who has gotten 4 COOLs on each stage, press a note on the first star, then press a note on every offbeat. try to make the 2nd note you press a little groovier, so a little after the offbeat similar to what you did at 3:42 and then when youre in cool literally just lazily press a button at the speed where you dont consider it spamming over and over the entire time for some reason it considers it cool

how to get to cool mode eh? just wait until you find out who BahnDaten is. (they are godlike at playing parappa)

I did this before, press R3 stick and tilt it up while you press X to play the stage for the true hardest difficulty

The way I got cool mode in this game was by repeating the last button you had to press (hold down left or right of the d-pad and press the button you need to press to repeat the last note) and it was so EASY DUDE!

U Can Literally Just Spam The Note's And Get COOL Mode!!! I Get COOL Mode Everytime I Play ALL of The Stage's!!! It's A Lot of Fun And I Even Do it On The Black Hat Difficulty (Hold Down The R3 Button Downward's When Loading Into The Stage, Once U Hear The Record Scratche's On The Loading Screen, Let Go Of The R3 Button And U Will Play In The Black Hat Difficulty Once The Stage Load's In!!!) It's A Lot Of Fun And U Should Try It Out One Day!!! This Game Seriously Need's More Love Because This Game is AMAZING, yes 😇🥰😇🥰!!!

As someone who has gotten cool on every level, doing level 6 on the hardest difficulty actually makes it much more difficult to get cool! I believe it's easier to get cool on the normal gold hat difficulty

i think to get cool mode you need to get more than 160 points at one bar to start moving to cool

It's hard to achieve in 1 too IMO

in my opinion the hardest thing is getting the "i gotta believe" record, not only you gotta get cool on all levels but you also have to beat all levels on level 4 cpu. (and also it isnt you that sucks at getting cool mode on level 6 i sufferd at it and also a person called Conco-time did on a stream)

I think it wouldve been better if stage one had lower cool requirements so new players can know that theres a mode higher than good from the start rather from finding out by messing up accidently and the game liking it.
