A foam fly that mimics a hopper, with a subtle crude name. My friend Don is all about these. The original used Montana fly company sexi barred legs, in red. I didn’t have those, so I used claret sexy floss instead. Don’t think the trout will notice too much.

This is one of those patterns that just seem to create some strong emotions. Regardless how you feel about them, these are highly effective and worth carrying a few in your box.
