They sound great. Maybe name the band The Asia Experience or something. But they do sound terrific. Would be a fun show to go to. Cheers.

They sound great. I'd pay to watch them. The future of rock is cover bands, just being realistic. The creative rockers aren't alive anymore and it's too expensive to risk it all and be a band full time. I've come to accept this

WTF Mr Downes???

I saw the HTT show two years ago. It’s great seeing these legendary performers of the 1960s back on stage. However, it does get a bit old seeing them perform the same four songs year after year. I’d like to hear these groups perform other songs from their respective catalogs.

Look at all these fans crying! Did any of them buy tickets to the show? No! Nobody cares what they think or what makes them cry. Trying to live other peoples lives.

I really wish people would respect other concertgoers and just stop talking, especially during the soft, slower songs. People pay good money to hear the artists, not other people talking.

Good god, the DLR nob gobblers always show up with nasty comments when someone praises Sammy or his era of VH. Message boards, comment sections, wherever…they appear like an infestation. Thankfully the positive comments far outweigh the nob gobblers. It’s like the Orkin Man killing roaches. I bet they hate seeing that…good!

Sammy still sounds decent but his voice is showing a little age. I commend him for taking on these songs at his age but he set a high bar over his career with his vocals. Even some being tuned down a half step are damn hard to sing. It might not be up to his original standard but some these comments are nuts. There is nothing embarrassing or disrespectful to Van Halen performance wise. Did none of you not catch DLR during his last years with VH? His voice is literally SHOT. He cant hold a tune in a bucket and hasn’t been able to for some time. Sammy has always had the range DLR could only dream of and I’m a big fan of early VH. His singing was fabulous in that era but doesn’t hold a candle to what Sammy brought to the table vocally. Eddie himself said it many times.

For the first time in his life Sammy’s voice is finally showing some age. I commend him for taking on these songs in their original key. Don’t get me wrong, he still sounds decent but his bar was set pretty high during his career so anything not up to that standard is a first. Still sounds better than DLR.

This is HORRIBLE. They are not even a good LRB cover band. Not sure how the bass player snatched the name. This is an insult to the fans and musical titans who made LRB what it was.

I was there that night and his voice was definitely “off” but the sound wasn’t great either. Music was way too loud compared to the singing. Regardless, my daughter and I both loved it!

Asia is not Asia without the original lineup. John Wetton is passed on, all the original lineup is vanished. Calling themselves Asia now is blatant grifting off the original band. It's an insult.😡
