I'm sure this is a major noob questions, but I notice that your midi note doesn't play 16th notes, it plays a single note but the note sounds like it's playing every 16th note. How are you achieving this by playing the note once? Again, sorry for the noob question.

Good video, bro. I went through something similar with Distrokid. Nothing against it, their work is great, but I realized that it's more practical for big artists, who no matter what and when they release, there will already be millions of people who will listen to it anyway - and I'm not at that level of artist yet. Besides, by giving me 100% of my royalties, they already earn their full remuneration from the yearly subscription I make, so they have no incentive to help me widely promote my music. Other platforms, on the other hand, demand 10 to 15% of my earnings, but that's an incentive for them to help me widely promote my music across the internet - after all, if I grow as an artist, they grow as a distributor too and everyone ends up earning more. So thanks for everything Distrokid, but now I'll be moving on with another distributor. Maybe LANDR, maybe SoundOn, I'm still researching.

When they've done their own version, how would I instruct them enter it on Distokid in order for me to get that 20% split AND for me to get the streams? Much appreciated.

Logic fan boys lol , Logic is for apple heads pretty much and generally protools also, all DAWS especially in the last 5 years have very much been competing and coming up with the same advancements , all in all they all use midi and audio to the same effect , just different ways of going about it. Say I release a track through DistroKid and then protect it with DistroLock. - Can I still upload that track to a personal RUclips channel or Sound Cloud? - Is there a way to give my own Twitch channel permission to play the track? Like if I wanna use it as an intro to a stream or during some gameplay in the background. - Is the upload to DistroLock separate to the DistroKid upload for release from your other video? This is a litttle misleading, I believe. you have listed free plugins but most of the plugins you are using are Logic plugins.. those are stock plugins.. technically they are free (if you are using logic) but not everyone is.. you might want to change the title to “logic stock plugins/free vsts”. Just a suggestion is all. This was very helpful for synthwave patterns and concepts. Thank you!!

What kind of processing did you use to get the kick so bassy.. one thing i have found. Every lindrum or 707 kick that i have come across are so thin sounding

Sounds pretty average, at least in the examples, and there's practically nothing to tweak it looks like. No wonder this goes for free on Loopcloud. Better opt out for Battalion which is worth 2 times as much as it costs, I think. Insane thing. Drumcomputer is also fine, I was an avid fan until Battalion came out (but still use it from time to time).
