Nice review 👍. I've only seen screenshots of this game in the Gamepro magazine back then. I kinda want to play the PS1 version. You might want to try using a game capture card. It's just a lot of hussle with all the adaptors and signal translators for older consoles 😂 but the image is worth it.

As a old school spider-man fan's pov Gameplay wise its an improvement story/NARITIVE wise its trash 🗑 the game felt one dementional compared to its counterpart poorly executed piss poor character development side quests was atrocious and a complete missfire there was so much you could have done with venom and you pissed it out the window because sweet baby inc would have shit their diaper if you didn't give them their dei so instead of being creative insomniac decided to disregard peoples constructive criticism and made venom playable on one section and doesn't apear again till the final boss fight and forced us to listen to screem bitch at peter like a divorced maerried couple fighting about who gets custody of their kids. I was disappointed in this game I expected more outta insomniac. But this is just my opinion and what I got out of this game I wouldn't recommend this game with a ten foot poll.

I mean, outside of Nokia and the Female MC, all the non-generic NPC female characters were various shades of calm and collected (except in situations where it made sense for them to be emotional), and in Nokia's case it's because her Hotblooded Idiot Hero Shounen Protagonist Energy goes through the roof once she meets her Digimon.

For me it's really good game, kinda rushed, story is still the best in 1 for me but I still like story in 2 more than MM, gameplay is also the best in 2 for me

late comment but if you want to raise a single digimon, the digimon world line is similar to tamagochi but with an rpg element to it

So there are enemies that scale beyond your level. For example, Strongholds are always 8 levels above you. Heltide are always three levels above. World tier three or four are all significantly higher. The gear and upgrading your skil is how you get to feel more powerful.

Precision for the dlc. Like torna its it own compain and you should definitely play xenoblade 1 and 2 before it playing it or you will be lost overwise.

Pikmin being next to brain dead kinda fit since they arent thriving yet. And its hilarious how badly auto lock has ruined people's throwing skill.

Actually, the concept of maintaining your Pikmin squad being allegorical to a teacher corralling kids was intentional. There was an interview, I believe with Miyamoto, where he talks about his mindset for the Pikmin AI. Things like- their leaves/buds/flowers glowing when they're separated, being distracted by grass/pebbles and flint beetles, getting snagged on walls and getting lost, tripping. These are all things meant to demonstrate that the pikmin are unlearned, uncoordinated, and undisciplined. It's why, when Olimar leaves the planet after the good ending, the pikmin do not enter their onions. Your hard work and your competence at the game translates directly into the pikmin displaying that they are no longer helpless. They can take down a bulborb without you now. They're better, stronger. It's why it's so good seeing them again in Pikmin 2. In Pikmin, the onions are found buried. All of them. Desaturated. They only have enough in them to release a single pikmin sprout. In the second game, they're doing fine. You can even see the pikmin handling tasks outside their onions, fighting beasts and enjoying the day on the planet. It's growth, and it's a wonderful way of showing that they're doing quite well, even after you leave them to their own devices.

I got this game and a wii u back in 2020 and I really enjoyed playing the game and even though the nintendo network shut down, there are fan servers called pretendo that will allow you to continue playing wii u and 3ds games like splatoon 1, although there is a non homebrew method for wii u to use this but if you want to play Splatoon 1 online you are gonna have to homebrew your console since the non-homebrew method is not working with splatoon but does work with other games. Just to keep on mind that you will get a bunch of error codes like 101-0502

Im a Splatoon competetive player here, I really enjoyed ur vid! Splatoon 2 has a nice story mode + a story dlc, which is a bit harder than the story mode, but not too bad. In Splatoon 3 we also have a really nice story mode and the dlc is a roguelike, I really enjoyed it. If you really liked the story mode, u can buy 2 & 3, the story modes are like the length of the 1st game. And yes, gyro is better imo, to really get used to it, it took like 1/2 months for me lol Im happy that you had fun with the game!

I started playing salt and sacrifice (havent played this one, but ill assume its the same). And i dont really like it. It sort of sucks actually. I like a pattern driven combat experience like in hollow knight, i guess the bosses here does have their own attack patterns too, but the combat doesn't seem to be about mastering that, more so its about having the right stats. So then if youre under leveled, the chances of beating that boss is way harder. Likely if youve become too leveled up, you can just button mash your way throw them. Thus combat overall gets very boring. Also, idk if i quit the game too early but doing two missions/or areas in a row where i have to hunt down mages and do the same thing, it was really lame

I'm seriously considering dropping the game 30 hours in. It's gotten really boring and cumbersome. And the whole time travel appeal is irrelevant.

I agree the biggest issue I have with the game is the map it's very difficult to figure out where to go I often need to pull up a online map or use a walkthrough for the specific part of the game I am in. I think that the later installments of the game help with this.

I got the new thumbstick in with the washer but when I put the white back piece in and fit it, the thumstick does not snap back and forth it's just loose still. What am I doing wrong? When I fit the white back piece is tightens back up just fine so that's what confuses me.

Playing though it now on Xbox and really enjoying it, I can relate to everything you said especially having to retrain my brain with the controls! I'm 47 now and gaming definitely doesn't come as easily as it used to.

the absolute ptsd I have from repeatedly trying to pass mt. battle rounds 80-90 before "game disk could not be read" would inevitably show up every time and I could never complete it. eventually I gave up. I was fully prepared to go through the whole thing three times to get all three johto starters. still hurts to this day.
