I completely understand what she's saying, I'm the same way, I need to prove that I'm the best, so much so I would work off the clock, while my newborn son, needed my attention just to stay on top of work, while back from maternity leave. I work at a law firm, where a black woman is my manager, her white assistant is always out but when I worked up to sixty hours of PTO and requested time off, she told me, we needed to have a meeting and still have not approved my time off. I know, I won't be working at this firm come July 30th because I will be taking my vacation, approved or not approved.
I'm so happy that you're going to take some time for yourself! It's hard but remember that you and your wellbeing (physical and mental) matters most. Decide what your boundaries and are slowly start to implement them.. you got this and I'm rooting for you Sis!

🎉great conversations, thank you!
Glad you like them!
I am friends with a young millennial white woman and the black woman speaking in your video is offensive to me. White women came and listen to your conversation but that wasn’t enough. First you say listen to our grievances shut up, now it’s you aren’t talking you are being voyeuristic, sis which is it???The black woman being interviewed with her Hanukkah candles in the back is a Marxist plain and simple and as a Christian I now know she is a satanist.
The Black woman you're referring to is Yseult P. Mukantabana- she is Rwandan and Jewish. The Hanukkah candles in her background represent her faith....I truly don't understand how you made that leap but ok. As for the conversation, the point she was making is that she wanted to be in conversation with the White women in that center rather than the WOC speak about their experiences/frustrations without their input. While I understand that her delivery isn't for everyone- I hope you gained something from this conversation. Be well!
@@bewellsis In careful research I have found most jewish young people who happen to be black align with a woke marxist ideology. Karl Marx a jew who gave his life to Satan. I have given my life to Christ so there fore I am a Christian. If you are a marxist then I would think you align with who the man gave his life to... I could be wrong about her ideology but I don't think so. Be blessed! Thank you for engaging in a non confrontational manner...
I had no idea this was up here - how fun! Thank you again for having me as a guest!
thank YOU for joining me This is one of my favorite episodes of the year!
That’s the problem. Black people refuse to heal from generational trauma. I come from indigenous (3/4)and Irish (1/4) people 2 even more marginalized groups than blacks. I had a bus driver today who was black and he kept telling me there was no way I face more racial discrimination than him. He said you’re white you don’t know racial discrimination, which in and of itself is wrong and racistbecause I’m not white. I’m indigenous. I actually had to move and re-register my car so the cops would not know that I was driving because I got pulled over six times in less than two months simply for looking white. Because the cops in my area, think all white people are meth addicts. I don’t smoke I don’t drink I don’t do drugs. I came from a long line of alcoholics. I don’t touch the stuff.
