3:15 how does link grab ledge you isn't he facing the wrong way and grabbing it from underneath?

So I feel like I'm going crazy trying to figure this out... is it possible to use the states between 1 and 8 when you're in the middle of the TAS? Or can a TAS only be recorded from one save state to another, and a new input recording needs to be started for the next segment? I just want to have one slot I can overwrite continuously and load from to correct mistakes as I go through the level but it seems like saving the second state always ends the recording

It’s pretty telling that, even with TAS, the majority of the combos weren’t true.

The Links are so cool, it should be noted tho that the hookshot super jump is only possible in 1.0 & 1.1 and to my knowledge 1.2 is always the standard at big tournaments for a few years by now. I do believe deep in my heart that both of them can make more waves in the future like DK has been doing lately!
