According to ASTM D4318-17 "When the diameter of the thread becomes 3.2 mm, break the thread into several pieces. Squeeze the pieces together, knead between the thumb and first finger of each hand, reform into an ellipsoidal mass, and re-roll. Continue this alternate rolling to a thread 3.2 mm in diameter, gathering together, kneading and re-rolling, until the thread crumbles under the pressure required for rolling and the soil can no longer be rolled into a 3.2-mm diameter thread." The procedure you are showing may result a plastic limit at higher water content. I think you have to reroll it (make it into more smaller parts) it again and again until they can no longer achieve that diameter.
A lot of metamorphic rock is NOT foliated. And some foliation is just bedding layers for sedimentary rock. And can you please show us the difference between metamorphic igneous rock and metamorphic sedimentary? Trick question for high grade metamorph. In his set of rocks you don't even have the major types of metamorph that I see on my hikes. You can do better.

For the peeps here, this is the convention in geomechanics. Tension is -ve and compression is +ve. If you are taking solid mechanic/mechanics of materials/strength of materials, the convention is the opposite.
