🤣 fully understand your thought! But did you know many camper people take photos of just that drying rack? Apparently it is difficult to find a good spot to dry something in or around a camper 🤷. Do you own a camper as well? And what is your drying solution?

True! ❤️👍 I did not calculate for my hours. I did think about it though what I would cost. And perhaps I should have added it. My thought was that I would charge myself around €100.000 for all the hours. So the costs would be about doubled. But still 5x less 😁👍

Ahh, thanks for explaining. 👍 I believe I have seen people doing a sort of flexible plaster on a moving vehicle. And that stays on. I have used real tiles (glued all around) and they also stay on and do not crack..... I can imagine that you would use additional fixation for the boards? But yeah, no specialist here. ❤️👍

I have never considered a box truck. The container just fits my ideas and needs in regards to durability and strength. A box of a box truck is not really solid, right?

Yes, you are right, but I like and I know working with wood. Most of the wood is not that heavy though. It is not oak 😉👍. Om the roofterrace we have a plastic-wood composite. For that purpose it works fine. For other purposes I would not recommend it, it sags when hot.

Thanks ❤️👍 and you are right.....what was I thinking not to have a shower. Will try to explain in short. 1. Many camper people do not use their inside shower. You can ask them. It takes to much watercapacity (both clean and dirty). 2. A shower is relatively much space that you use only a couple of minutes a week. I wanted to be able to use the space for something else..... 3. I was afraid of water 😬. Moisture and mold are big enemies in a camper.... Hope this explains 👍🤪

Outbound windows and doors. A small Dutch company. I would not recommend. Poor service (for self builders) and poor quality blinds. And it has thermal bridges (they claim there are none). The fact that they are double glazed, with real glass, is a plus for insulation for sure. Hope this helps. 👍❤️

@littlerunningwolf You are 100% right! In my opinion, that is 😉. Everyone builds/buys the "camper", they like and have time and money for. And all campers are lovely for that reason. 90% of the function for 10% of the cost I think is the main point, but also that DIY skills get you way closer to buying what you actually want.

But yeah, for us that does not really happen a lot since we try to be in nice weather. So is it worth it then.....? Or perhaps we do not mind, so we do not notice, since we are used to the rain in the Netherlands 🤣

@@uglysjourney Yeah, still - I would mostly say a passthrough with a door of sorts would offer no negatives (if not used it is just closed) and potential benefit. So, it is more about having a reason NOT to do it. Which may be a heat seal? You mention in the video the container can be removed - that is more problematic with a passthrough. Really a matter of where you go - I mean, I remember coming out of the hotel with my car under 30cm of snow ;) In your camper - a passthrough would really be nice to, you know.. again... not get out. Netherlandsa re one thing, but going for Sylvester into the mountains? Also possible from there.

I have seen others do similar and not realise that if their vehicle can be used commercially then they must have all the necessary paperwork, qualifications etc. Obviously if you use it both commercially and for recreation I guess you are covered. Cheeky question but how do you do both and get around hours regulations and the fact you are driving your commercial vehicle that provides an income as a recreational vehicle as well ? Would be interesting to know. Cheers

@alexpervanoglu7420 I only use it for commercial purposes and it is commercially registered 😄👍. Fun can be commercial, you know. And the government considers all use of a commercial truck to be commercial. Not exactly a trick. Not getting around 👍😄. But does it explain enough?
