In the opposite version, instead of getting the legendary dogs and Ho-oh, you get the legendary birds and Lugia instead. Also, all legendary Pokemon in Ramanas Park have their hidden abilities. The legendary dogs have inner focus as their hidden ability. Not only does it render them immune to flinching, intimidate’s effect doesn’t work on them either. Sadly, the 2 legendary eon Pokemon, and the 3 legendary ancient Pokemon don’t have hidden abilities.

I don’t find Buck all that useful when he aids you in Stark Mountain cave. He mainly provides support by setting up light screen and reflect first. His only attacks are psychic and ancient power. No ground moves for his Claydol.

Thanks to Ramanas Park, you won’t need to bring the 3 Regis from another game. You can catch them yourself and bring them to the statue of Regigigas to awaken it. Fun fact: in Platinum, this Regigigas is only level 1. Even so, it’s still brutal to catch.

You can’t catch the shadow Giratina, but once you defeat it, you can get Giratina’s held item: the griseous orb. Not only does it change Giratina to its origin form, it also raises the power of its ghost and dragon type moves.
