Sorry for the late reply. I don't know how much bigger you want to go, but the length just needs to increase the number of chains in the first place. It can be further increased by the rule of multiples of 3+2. I hope this is the answer you were looking for. Happy Crocheting!❤

@@luxamoris so the multiples rule is if the length exceeds 3 stitches then the width must exceed 2 stitches? :> I am begginer so I'm a little bit suck, btw I really love your pencil case style, hope you can help me out

@@_samozlie_7158 Thank you for your interest in this video. If you want to increase only the length of this pencil case, you can increase the number of chains by the rule of multiple3+2. If you want to widen the width, you can increase the number of rows. 5 segments are connected to make one pencil case row1~5: segment 1 row6~14: segment 2 row15~25: segment 3 row26~34: segment 4 row35~40: segment 5 You can increase the number of rows equally in each segment. Since the patterned row and the non-patterned row are paired, you can increase it by 2 rows in all five segments (patterned row, non-patterned row). I hope this answer is what you are looking for. @@nadiyaabdulrahimanmalayan4313 add more chains for longer length, make sure that the no. of chains are multiples of 3 then add 2. example in this video its 38 chains because 36(multiple of 3) + 2 = 38 Meanwhile add more rows on all segments for wider width

@@luxamoris and then the 2sc are in the stitch after the skipped stitch? Asking because when I did the 8 fpdc I only had 4 sc left at then end :/

@@arriesm4695 Yes, 2sc are in the stitch after the hidden stitch behind the FPdc. so (1Fpdc, 2sc)x8 is 24 stitches. Therefore, 8sc, (1FPdc, 2sc) x 8, 6sc makes a total of 38 stitches. I hope this is the answer you are looking for. Happy Crocheting!❤

@@luxamoris okay one last question if we are skipping stitches how is there still room to make 38? I’m going to start over but I keep only having 4 at the end instead of 8.

@@arriesm4695 Sorry for the late response. I think there was a misunderstanding. The skip I mentioned is the “hidden” stitch behind the FPdc. It was not meant to skip after Fpdc. If you look at 4:03~4:19 of this video, you can see that the hidden stitch (1sc) is skipped. Hope this helps. Happy Crocheting!❤

답변 감사합니다! 코바를 3.25mm 라고 되어있어서 코바늘5호에 맞는 실을 샀다가 너무 얇아서 못썼는데요ㅠㅠ 실두께에 맞춰 4mm 실을 사려니 코바늘7호를 쓰라고 쓰여있는데 4mm실에 3.25(5호) 코바늘을 쓰면 되는걸까요??

@@magurokim2052 저는 3.25mm코바늘과 4.5mm 굵기의 실을 사용했어요. 그러니까 3.25mm 코바늘과 4mm굵기의 실도 사용 가능하십니다. 꼭 표준대로 사용하지 않아도 실과 바늘의 굵기 차이가 심하지만 않으면 괜찮습니다. Happy Crocheting!❤
