it would be nice to call a specialist of pests and diseases to the farm when a farmer has a hard time identifying or controlling a problem. some farmers are good at growing but not good at identifying what a particular problem is. it would be a paid visit to the farm. any recommendations of anyone who provide this service. please dont recommend me to read a book. reading a book on pests and diseases help but does not make you an expert.

That law should apply differently on no-till farms. Most of your bloom when it comes from the waterways is soil, and home grass runs off.

Liberty Hyde Bailey once wrote, "There are liberated personalities, rare and prophetic, who are consumed only in making a living but who should be given unreservedly to the people: the people are much in need." Professor Ikerd is one of those rare and prophetic people BUT who is NOT consumed only in making a living but is willingly giving us all what we really need to hear. Thank you so much, Professor Ikerd, you are a true saint! ....and thank you, NOFA, for posting the link.
