Ein Traum....
One of the most beautiful and most uncomfortable bikes ever built. I wanted to buy one until a friend let me ride his. Great engine but horrific riding position. I''ll stick with my Duc singles.
Had a 79 ss900. Absolutely awesome 👌 not as fast as anything today but the handling be hard to beat.
…and Feuling think they did it first……
😍
Is this official Harley or homemade ?
@@zekethegeke5317 Custom made in a garage/shop in Concord,NH, many years ago! Worlds 1st, by the late Bob Labrie💥💥🏍💥💥
You seem to have an exhaust leak there but who cares
Just burning off oils, dirt, stuff that gathered for 85 years!! But, correct, who cares-she is a queen!! :)
j' en ai reçu une comme sa en 1971 pour m' amuser avec (elle ne tournerait plus jamais).... en 1975 j' ai rouler ace pour la première fois tout le quartier à bien entendu quand elle à démarrer.😂
Bellissima
Sadly never owned one, had a couple 750S and GT’s!!
where's the 750SS......?
Didn’t you end up with Frank’s ‘51 pan police bike? That would be good to see in a video.
Hey there John, I was wondering if it was u!! Been a few years! U don't come out to Oley do u? And, I don't go to Wauseon anymore myself these days!! Yes, I did own Franks police pan and knuck at one time.. Long gone sadly, and all before video's were an everyday thing!! Hope you well, hope your still playing with old motorcycles!! U were, and hopefully still, a wealth of knowledge!! See you at Oley 2025??
@ I haven’t been to Oley in years and only hit Wauseon. Still have a bunch of motorcycles, mostly customs, nothing special. Never did get a police bike built. I think my last remaining police pieces are going on a “custom” electric start 1961 FLH. I’m a fellow RUclipsr. My most active projects are my 1955 Chevy Nomad and a Harley wishbone frame I’m building from scraps.
Not as cool as your ‘70 Ironhead XR but still a very cool motorcycle.
Now THAT’S a motorcycle!
Hell yeah-- Thanks
For some reason I love these … quirky but effective styling… 🥰
Beautiful machine man👍🏼. Nothing like the sound of an IRON HEAD XR. Not great for racing but definitely cool.
More tractor than you will ever need
Great thing ! However, it sounds as one cylinder does more than the other . . I miss the typical V-Sound of the Duc.
An overrated maintenance nightmare compared to a Laverda 1000 or Guzzi LeMans....
Faster and better sounding, too.
A former motorcycle policeman here in my home town in Wales has one just like this. I've not ridden the same model but did have a go of a Mike Hailwood Replica in the mid 1980's, which had Denso instruments, rather than Veglia. I actually prefer the looks of this bike, which I believe is a little lighter too.
nice
Very nice
Thank you!! She is a survivor!!
Crisp.
Ahhhh, Bultaco! I can smell the Castor Oil from here! 🙂
"Castor" is the Latin name of an animal: the Beaver, lol. (The oil's name is Castrol...) Btw. the Bultaco Motor Co. started with chainsaw machines!
nice
Sportster based. I had one similar, it wasn't a true XR, just a look alike; '74 Sportster engine, I had the starter hump removed and welded up, Mert Lawill frame, XR hubs, gold anodized rims with stainless spokes, XR tank/seat combo, Marzocchi forks, Red Wig shocks. It looked good but was not much on performance.
Owned one when I was a kid. Mine was a 200cc unit. I really miss it.
Drooooool......x
nice
Motorised 2 wheel porn at its best, thanks ;)
Hey mate, all your new recent videos you have listed them "for kids only" that means people cant comment on them, give you feed back and share a thankyou etc. id reccomend you go through and update the video from "just for kids" to for everyone.
Thanks, appreciate the heads up!! Still a rookie, learning as we plow along!! :)
Beautiful
Бля, тику от старых ямах, работает пиздато,но я не могу понять 125 кубов , а цилиндра 2 получается 62,5 на целиндр
If this bike is for sale, please let me know.
It looks like the 72 CS5 that I had. Main difference is the color. CS5 was 200 cc.
Yeah they do, back in 72 I went to buy the AS3, I had the YL1 100cc twin at the time, and wanted a lil more power got to the only local bike shop that Had any, and there I was greeted with an AS3, YCS5-E AND YDS7 The YCS5-E won, fell in love with it at first sight, and still have it....
I bought a new YAS3 in Ireland in 1975 exactly the same as the bike in the video. I even but the same drop handle bars on it. It was one of the best bike I ever owned. After the AS3 I got a RD350, it was some bike for its day and hard to keep the front wheel down. Great Bikes
You selling this bike
Perfect!! It took years for it to look like this! Please don't change it's patina.
The late Abbott Lahti's former bike?
