This channel used to be One10RC 4x4 however it has changed its name Feb 26 2024. This channel is all about scale RC trucks, sometimes cars and in any scale. The big focus however is in how they are driven. My motto has been and always will be: "Drive it like you are in it".

FAIRRC presents: Tiny Truck Takeover 2024
A bunch of rc off road hobbyists bring out their tiny trucks to try racing each other on a big hill where big trucks normally play. What could go wrong? :)
This was our first of this kind of event, we ironed out a few "bugs" and got things under way and had many laughs. A big thank you to FAIRRC who sponsored the event and provided two amazing silver Blazers. Also Action Hobby RC store in Calgary donated a gift card for their shop. Thank you.
Have fun watching, like and subscribe, visit the blog post on this event linked below as well as the FAIRRC store, Action hobby and my FB page. Be sure to comment too. I would love to hear from you viewers.

FMS FJ40 couple minute crawl with Laura HD 1080p
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.3 месяца назад
Another 3 minute (It was 5 but I cropped it and failed to change the name) crawl video taken out front on the garden space with my FMS FJ40. I totally dig this truck. I still have a few things to swap out on it but really... even as it is right now, its a killer trail truck. FMS nailed it. Visit my FB page at RockyMtnRCAdventure/
3 minute Slow Crawl with Kevin HD 1080p
Просмотров 1 тыс.3 месяца назад
Kevin got all decked out to race this machine but surprise surprise... its a slow crawler. Very slow. Geared low and running the Fusion 1200 two in one combo... its a great slow crawler. But... I might have to put a bigger gear in there... sometimes a touch of wheel speed is needed when stuck. This is just a short 3 minute crawl video filmed out in my garden bed crawler space. Hope you dig it. ...

On this particular outing, most of my footage was of my own rig. The terrain was just too epic for me to not get as much video as I could. The area was a sweet little spot at Fish Creek park at the far west end at a little park called Shannon Terrace located at this link maps.app.goo.gl/8zefPL8Yc1UhCyJ7A You may need a guide to the "secret" crawl spot though. Thanks for coming out guys. Hopeful...

SUPERSCALE #1

Run number 1 of 8 that are happening in various areas around Calgary all summer long. Superscale quality trucks are the goal but not everyone has one so the odd "almost" superscale truck is totally fine. We want drivers coming out and driving their rigs in a realistic manner more than anything. Be sure to like and subscribe in order to help out the little guys like me making vids and to be sure...

AXIAL CJ 7 FIRST RUN
Просмотров 89910 месяцев назад
Axial Scx10 lll Cj-7 first look and crawl and what an awesome looking machine. The scale details are great. For a trail truck... out of the box it's just fine, needs nothing. For technical crawling... well, different tires and dropping the COG will for sure be needed. The drag brake isn't great so I need to play with that and see if I can fix it via the ESC or maybe a lower turn motor. I like t...

JEEP WILLYS RIVER TRAILING
Просмотров 1236 лет назад
Gmade Sawback Jeep Willys out trailing at Harvie Passage west side. First time trying to control this machine without my GRU unit in it. I ran a 4:1 RC4WD gear reduction unit (gru) for yrs but it finally crapped out on me. I need to get another. You can't really trail with one in your truck but guys... the control you have when technical crawling just cannot be beat. Also, no music. A first for...

Immensely relaxing. Thank you.
Thank you
Looks like great fun!

Man yawl make sure n check your subscription to channels. Because this makes the 21st channel today i been unsubscribed to. Not to miss out on stuff ya wanna see. Im just gettin started n i lost like 3 subs twice now. Same ones all 3 times n they're personal friends that are helping me start up my channel. But NICE Jeep n video.
Thats odd. I should check my subs Thanks mate
@@RockyMtnRCAdventure yeah ya always hear creators saying it. Well it's true. Especially if they are too A or if it has ta do with the rich men North of Richmond type stuff. Can't even say what ya want on here without penalties
nice video bro! thanks!
Jeep is looking great!! 👌
Thanks man. I did a test run on the trail with those tires and not great there either. Rocks, loose dirt... just not good. Basically a good looking scale trail driving tire only. Next time you see this thing, its definitely going to have different shoes on it. :)
GREAT CRAWL! Nice Rigs as Well!!!
Thats a nice looking FJ 👍🏾🔥
They are really nice these things. FMS has really been knocking out of the park with their RC's and the details
I would say your off to a good start
Thanks pal.
very cool
Thanks!
Loke and subbed! Great rig! I'll be posting more of mine soon!
Thanks man
Nice run🎉CJ👍👍🍻🍻😀
Awesome backyard course. 👍🏾
It shows very smooth driving capability. It shows great CJ7 test 👍👍🎉
Looks good 👍
Thanks. Still dialing it in but sure am enjoying it
Great looking CJ!
Thanks buddy. I"m enjoying all your vids. You are a machine
@@RockyMtnRCAdventure well thanks man! I enjoy everyone’s videos of their cj’s! Makes me want the silver one too!
@@RockyMtnRCAdventure I have the high jack lift mounts to mount my jack on the hood, just haven’t looked into doing it yet. It looks great up on your hood man!
@@MidwestRCcrawler Thanks dude. The mounts were a hack I came up with but they work great. Two screws of the right length and then some red rubber hose cut into 4 washers. The rubber can just spin off and the jack can be removed. Might not be perfect or true scale but I'm not overly concerned down at that level of scrutiny.
Awesome video mate! Subscribed 👊
Thanks. Will be getting one done in the near future with the truck modded and tweaked but right now we are under snow and its -44 up here in my neck of the woods. This may take a while. :)
I love the look of your Sawback. I just picked mine up and after 10 minutes of playing I am already modding... battery relocated and putting some drops of superglue on the tires, they literally would not stay on. I'm going to replicate my real Willys, hopefully I can patina it right.
Sweet.
Great music! When I finally do a foam course, I want to use some of that stone-look spray paint for texture.
Thanks man. Yeah, I gave that a try for just those reasons and it actually worked out okay. Cheers!
It looks like a good field! If you are good at my channel please come and visit
Thanks very much. Will do
My compliments on that briefcase Boston very good if I had a few extra batteries if I were you I'd stay out that rock formation at all day is that is really neat
I cannot even count how many times I have gone here to play. It's a super popular spot for the rc community. Everyday there is someone there. Cheers
Great video, awesome car at nice location! What are this for tires?
Pitbull growlers. Cheers
Great work on the course, looks like it would be a little too challenging for my Orlandoo.
Thanks man. It's a bit tough on this guy too. The next ones I build will be a tad smaller (obstacle size) to be a hair easier
Great vid. Keep up the good work.
Thanks. Cheers
Wow very nice trailing video good sawback big thumbs up subbed XD
Thanks so much. I appreciate the support. Cheers
were those 2.2 tires? if so, what did you have to do to fit them without rubbing the body?
4.75 inch 1.9's. They are a perfect fit. No rubbing at all
Just picked up one few months ago. If I would have seen your video 2016 I would have gotten one then.... Good Job
Thanks, I appreciate that. Welcome to the club mate
What a fine location with any terrain you like to drive.Fine
Thank you. Cheers
Nice and slow, thats the same way i prefer.Good job and the vid is awesome.Well done
"Drive it like you're in it" is my motto. Just have to pretend you got a ton of money invested in a real one... how would you drive it then? Plus, when these things go zipping by really fast and then break... where is the joy in any of that? Cheers brother
so awesome bro!
Thanks man
Very Nice!
Thank you very much :)
Place looks fantastic, you guys have done a killer job this summer!!
I eventually burned out and left the building part but the guys who came in after and continued on with it have made it even better. Such a great community we have. Cheers
Great little trail adventure! That little park sure looks like tons of fun! Love those tires on your Jeep! It sure has the right look! Thumbs up! ;-)
Thanks. Yeah, I agree... I have tried several tires and I keep coming back to these. Plus performance wise... I haven't found a tire yet that is better. Pitbull growlers really are amazing.
Great looking little YJ! Mine is a very similar color, check it putt on channel sometime. Liked and subbed.
Thanks man. I appreciate the support
It's always fun to cross some water with scale trucks! Great trail adventure! Thumbs up!
Just the right depth water especially. I love the realism aspect of the hobby so no pretending I'm a submarine pilot for this guy.
Sweet rigs! You have your YJ loaded up with lots of sweet scale items! Thumbs up bro!
Thanks man. I miss it. Sold it awhile ago with a bunch of my other rigs to help pay some bills. Sigh.
Was a great time, thanks for your hard work and putting it on !
Thanks man. Glad
Looks like a good start.
The idea was sound but not enough interest to carry it fwd. We had fun though
Great little trail run! Always fun to see your Jeep! Thumbs up!
Thanks brother. I'm always enjoying your vids as well
Nice vid.Fine location and a good trail.Good job.
Thanks so much.
Looks dope! im possibly getting one off craigslist for 200$ and never used!!! what is good and bad about it and what should be upgraded?
Hi Bryn... great truck. The leafs need protection against torque twist so google up how to do that. The rest of it will last ages but there are upgrades out there if you must. It really is a capable truck out of the box and pretty near bullet proof. Enjoy
Nice vide, am about to start building my kit... :-) I subbed.
Cheers. Look fwd to seeing it done.
Great video my friend, i love the Sawback, i have one i just finished. Take care
Thanks very much. Enjoy yours as well. :)
Very nice job, i am almost finished with my Sawback, have already driven it some just have to out some finishing touches on it and hook up the lights, great video, take care my friend
Thanks Luvtoflyhelis. Have fun with that truck!!
nice video good job on the jeep to. subed
Thanks very much. Appreciated.
Awesome video! I'm just finishing my first Sawback but wondered what leaf setup you are running in the video? It looks as though yours has way more flex than mine.
Actually... I have less than when I got it. I have very heavy wheels with aluminum rims and inside is a full strip of lead in each. That makes those wheels pull down when they get air and causes the flex. I found the single leaf that was in it when I bought it was not enough plus I also have a low turn motor and a 4:1 gear reduction unit in it so the torque is extreme. This causes torque twist in the axles when the wheels get jammed in sometimes among obstacles. Many guys put a single link from the pumpkin to the skid plate to reduce that axle twisting. I haven't done that yet but what I did do is taking some metal strapping that we use at work to wrap large items shipping on the pallets... I cut the metal down the middle and its the perfect width for a leaf. I drilled holes and put some in as second leafs so that they are now giving it much more strength but it takes away some of the flex that it used to have. I'm okay with that as its much more stock and realistic this way. The next step is to put some hangers on front and back so I can get a bit more droop when its crawling. Going back to the leafs topic... a lot of guys end up snapping their leafs due to repeated torque twist. I won't have that problem. Thanks for the question and comment. Enjoy that Willys my friend!
Just an update to my comment a moment ago... I think at the time of filming this particular video, I hadn't put the aluminum wheels on yet and the second leafs were not installed yet so there was more flex and twist. See my more recent videos to compare. Cheers
Awesome, thanks for the info! I really like your idea using pallet strapping for leafs...that's perfect! Keep the videos coming, great music and great crawling spots!
Good sawback! What kind of Esc and motor are you using? It's very quiet.
Not sure about ESC... Axial but not sure what kind. Motor is 35 turn but I have a 4:1 GRU from RC4WD attached to it. Gives great control and realistic crawling but a baby can move faster than this thing. lol. It's also "very quiet" because I turned off the sound when I added the music.
is it HSP mod ? or other brand?
Losi Trail Trekker is the brand
thank u scott, btw nice litte truck and i guess still looking for HBX devastator cause this one is awesome too
