Just cry when I watch this. Snape is my best fave character and I love him .

Snape is my fave character and the epytome of the real tragic hero to me. He's not a stereotyped knight in a shining armour, he's a complex amazing human being and the most brave and generous character ever, even if in his own way. It was hard to be in the Order, but way harder to be under cover. Just think of how hard must have been for him, when everyone thought he was a bad person and he couldn't tell them the truth.. when he had to watch people he cared for die.. when he had to kill.. when he was tortoured by Voldemort throughout the years... when the person he protected, putting his own life at stake, hated him.. think of how bad he felt when Harry told him "how do you dare stand where he stood, tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and you killed him"... how hard must have been not to shout "I didn't betray, I did it just to save you".. how hard, to see Minerva raise her wand against him.. I mean com'on. He protected the son of the man who had been bulliying him for years and who broke his heart as well as if he were his real father and he never asked for a single 'thank you'.
