Hey dude! I keep the mic in the outermost pocket of my backpack. That seems to get the best results.

@@Aperture.01 I've got a Lavalier GO mic, that has a clip, which I use to attach it to the lining, so it doesn't thrash around - it stays fixed in place. But it will pick up other stuff too - if there's something loose in my backpack, and I go over a bigger bump, you'll absolutely hear that on the recording 😅

With all the electronics that manufacturers put on the new bikes, I've really come to appreciate the older ones.. They have a certain charm, and new is not always better.

@@mt-10addiction i like things that I can fix or work around things alone on or with little help of a friend who is into it. as soon as I need computer and wires ... even those in Dakkar now days don't have as much electronics as those for civilians... regulations... rawness is lost feels like toys for adults

It was so frustrating riding behind him... tons of unnecessary braking, mid corner, in multiple instances. I also really wasn't expecting him to drop anchors at 2:10, you could take that corner way faster. I was glad when I was finally able to pass him.

Believe you that. He is a danger for him self the way he is driving. The R12 sound is really nice. Im planning on getting a bmw, as I sold my triumph. How did you like the r12?

I quite liked the r12, but I'm not sure how it's priced, though. If I were in the marked for a retro (looking) bike, I would probably go for the Yamaha XSR 900. Depends on a lot of factors - if you like boxer engines, what kind of riding you plan on doing.. What Triumph did you previously own?

@@mt-10addiction I had a trident 660, 3 cylinder. Im more of a comfy driver. The 3 cylinder was to „aggressive“ for me.

Nice bike, had the chance to test ride it. Compared to the Triumph, the BMW will be a bit less sporty, but it does have loads of torque down low. But it's all very manageable. The Speed Twin 900 is also a nice option, as is the Bonneville T120. More relaxed, but you can still have fun on them.

Had a mt10 sold it for a 2021 XR, amazing commuter bike but felt so lifeless give gas and no real excitement. Sold it after 6 months maybe when im older but very tame and boring bike.

Same impression here, great bike, but not that exciting.

I agree, you can't beat it for the money. It's actually good around town, you can tour on it (with the caveat that you have to plan gas stops), and it's fantastic on the twisties. And yes, I get a huge grin every time I got on it 😁

@@mt-10addiction LOL, gas stops are definitely a thing on an MT-10. Giant Loop's 2 gallon bag is a fantastic travel gas solution to any bike that's not a GS.
