Hello :). Looking at the dimensions, it looks like this one is a "tate" bezel, isn't it? I am actually working on it by myself, for my gen1 SF2 cab. Hand-making prototypes to find the right dimensions to finally CNC cut it in a Fab-lab :). Matching your nice perfect job on this one would be amazing, but i'm an amateur so, we will see...

Thank you, I’m gonna be ordering the wood mount plexiglass kit from your site. Installation seems easy. Main reason I’m replacing my 17” is the monitor has color shifting from right side viewing angle only. Did you notice the Unico 19” on both sides viewable without any color shift? Thanks
Bought an HP E190i from goodwill for 25$ that was a direct swap in with the stock PCB cables. The worst part was fabricating a bezel for it and getting it mounted firmly. Masking off and spray painting a piece of acyrilic is a piece of cake. As a bonus the screen is IPS and the viewing angles are way better than unicos overpriced panel

Wow. You make it looks so easy that I'm sold. Gonna upgrade mine to 19" of magnificence. Might save my marriage. Even if it doesn't, I'll still have a 19 inch screen of magnificence.

I ordered two of these monitors off EBay and wanted to ask did you hook this up to the stock A1U PCB I just bought a T2 and Time Crisis and would like to do this mod before whilst I’m building the cabinets versus after. Appreciate you posting this video.
Typically the dell is used for a pi or computer mod. There are ways of connecting a stock a1up but you need a LDVS board for connectivity, compatibility is an issue though.
Obviously i wanted to order it from your etsy market place in the first place, but with shipping cost to france + custom fees, it not the same :/
Shipping is pretty expensive across the pond. Mostly because esty forces you to buy postage with tracking. I can always do without and get a more economical price.
Hello! Great work, thank you for your advices. How thick is your MDF bezel please, 12mm or maybe 10mm? I'm trying to do it myself and i wonder if 10mm is strong enough, with the grooves to fit the decased monitor... 12mm will be sure strong enough, but does not allowed to put the plexi screwed to it AND fit into the grooves of the cabinet...
It’s half inch or 12mm. Take apart (or build a cab and you’ll see how it works. I’ll be going over that in a video, eventually ;) essentially it’s replicating the current bezel. I actually use thicker 3mm acrylic as oppose to the original 2mm.

This video totally cured my curiosity about connecting the 19” to the MVSX PCB. I kept thinking it would be some weird workaround with an LVDS to HDMI….not a straight up PCB swap. This is super easy. 😊
My initial thought as well. Actually, the first thing I did was connect the LVDS board (it does work!). The only benefit was that you’re able to keep that controller board, overkill imho.
Yeah keeping the OG pcb allows super easy swap. Keep your original games plus the Hylox add on. Can’t wait for my bezel and frame to arrive. :)
Great video and any difference in quality with the 19inch monitor over the stock.
