Wanted to have it in there now instead of the future. Plus I wanna learn how to tune myself and Holley is a lot more simpler to learn from a tuning aspect for noobs. There’s a few other small reasons too

What kind of upgrades on the front suspension since its AWD
Stock for now, but I plan on getting some custom upper and lower control arms made so I can run a Viking or QA1 shock
The guy with the lsx Escalade AWD says everything in his suspension and 4x4 system is stock. All he uses is limiter straps on his front end. That keeps it level so the front keeps traction. Without the limiter straps to much body roll and the front end with Lift and loss traction.

I got a bad habit of saying 2nd gen for some reason
You are hoping for a lot to run in the 8's... Plus you will have to put a lot of money in the car and engine. I have a 66 SS Chevelle, tube chassis car with a 468 in it, strictly a drag car and runs in the 8's. at 152.52 mph foot braking it. 5.62 et. in the 1/8th at 123 mph. Will run faster the next time by using the trans brake. Powerglide 2 speed trans. 1.80 low gear. Car is light, 2,370 lbs. with driver. 800 HP. SV1 carb. 4.86 reargear 9" Ford, aluminum center section, Strange Ultra case, 35 spline axles, 5/8" studs on rear axles. Spindle mounted struts on the front. The 468 makes 1.7 HP per cubic inch. I built the engine myself.
I know it’s gonna be a huge project but I will get there trust me
It needs a 9" Ford rear end. Those Dana rearends are heavy...

Dont know how serious you are about going after the record, but you'll need to turn it into a full blown race car/truck and gut it for the weight reduction and other benifits. And make about 2000hp as well with a th400...
The dude who has it has full interior still, he makes 1500 or 1600 to the wheels. He’s still a full street car minus cutting the front part of the frame and tubing the front end. He’s at roughly 4700-4750lbs factory is a touch under 5k lbs
