Trying to remember back to when I made the video - but the MIDI cable was attached to my Roland Juno Di which has an arpeggiator on it - and I combined several voices of the Juno with the arpeggiator. You can actually split the bass buttons in to two different MIDI sections with different instruments - I wish I was good enough to play three parts with my hands!

Hi Freek: Yes I used a MIDI cable to go in to a Roland Juno-Di keyboard - then used the arpeggiator on the Juno to get that arpeggiator sound. so, in truth - I wasn't using the sounds of the accordion per se.

I sold that accordion a couple years ago - needed money! I currently want to buy a FR-3x - the next bigger size of accordion. I really loved the organ and guitar sounds on the Fr-1x accordion - with the MIDI capabilities you could play a drum beat a bass AND some sort of lead part - and pretty much - with a MIDI cable - you can play any instrument on any keyboard or from any MIDI module. I had a Roland TD20 drum kit with a hundred MIDI voices besides the drums - but if you like playing keyboard piano organ or electric piano parts this thing is bitchin', I just wish the prices on these used Roland accordions weren't SO HIGH.

Hi Bob: Using a iMac with Quick Time audio recorder - started with a Roland Boss drum machine for the basic beat - added tambourine fills and other percussion on a Roland Juno Di keyboard. Then overdubbed the bass, then the violin, harmonica & other instruments - also with the Juno Di. For the RUclips video - overdubbed the electric piano. Only the vocals were added during the video recording using the TC-Helicon mike and the voice processor which added all the harmonies. I didn't use Garage Band at the time otherwise I would have tried to fix a few timing boo-boos here and there.

Based on that alone I am not terribly confident in your evaluation of mine or any one else's musical abilities. I think I can say without qualification that you are just jealous and you haven't thought of a greater way to channel your frustrations. I have never claimed to be a great singer - by any stretch of the imagination - but I have YET to see anybody else on here do a cover of Juke Box Hero that comes any closer than mine to the original. Trying to record 12 different musical parts on to a home computer and make it sound perfect without a recording studio or endless hours tinkering with the controls - under the circumstances it sounds pretty good. Bet you i'd pee my pants laughing if I heard your version.....

And again I say: Don't flatter yourself by pretending other people's criticism isn't legitimate. Let's have a look at some of the other comments on this video. "Wow words cannot describe how bad this is" "Who the hell is singing, this is so bad.." "wow this is bad." "I just got cancer from this" "no..........." Then there is ONE guy who says "Who agrees like this" (which is not even a grammatically correct sentence) who got a single like which I suspect was probably yourself. Now, that's five people to one, 6:1 including myself. Those numbers don't work in your favor. I'd also like to point out the dislike to like ratio. But since you're still going to hold on to your desperate dreams of having talent, I will accept your childish and illogical challenge and make a kick-ass orchestral cover of this song. Links will be in here when it's finished. Good day.

DON'T FORGET TO GO TO "MIX/HARMONY" AND ADJUST THE LEVEL OF THE HARMONIES IN RELATION TO YOUR OWN VOCAL VOLUME. A SOPRANO OR ALTO MIGHT USE HIGH/LOW OR EVEN LOW/LOWER ON THE HARMONIES.
