@@realMarioMario This was the superstation feed of WGN-TV which was carried on Cable and Satellite nationally outside the Chicago area, in Chicago Kids WB programming was carried on WCIU-TV 26 until it moved to WGN-TV on September 12,2004. The National Feed of WGN carried Kids WB programming because of carrying the de facto WB Affiliation on Cable for the first four years of The WB’s existence. The WB 100+ Stations Group (known as The WeB until March 1999) which launched September 21,1998 gave cable subscribers in low market areas a cable only WB Affiliate.

@@kmart3697 It was announced on April 22,2001 that Buffy the Vampire Slayer would move to UPN for its 6th season and 7th Season shortly after UPN offered to pay for $2.3 million per episode that Joss Whedon and 20th Century Fox Television wanted. As much as I would have loved for Buffy to stay on The WB because it put the network on the map but I know Buffy’s move to UPN marked a new era for UPN because of Moesha and Star Trek:Voyager ending their run in May 2001. Back in January 2001, Joss Whedon and 20th Century Fox Television wanted $2.3 million per episode for two more seasons and 44 episodes for Buffy the Vampire Slayer from The WB but The WB’s only offer was $1.8 million so they went for other buyers some entertainment executives assume Fox Broadcasting would pick Buffy the Vampire Slayer up from The WB.

@@KevinBufkin-f8e That is true, Hellraiser III:Hell on Earth was the first film released by the then newly launched Dimension Films which was a subsidiary of Miramax Films at the time followed by the release of Children of The Corn II:The Final Sacrifice which was released in January 1993. Both Hellraiser III:Hell on Earth as well as Children of The Corn II:The Final Sacrifice were released on VHS by Paramount Home Video due to the fact that Paramount distributed most of the Miramax Films releases on VHS, as of April 2020 Paramount owns most of the movies released by Miramax Films which included the Pre-2005 Dimension Films Library.

@@Trekapedia They aired repeats of the 3rd Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer over the summer of 1999 and when Graduation Day Part 2 aired it attracted 6.5 million viewers which was high for The WB during the summer of 1999. Earshot which was originally scheduled to air April 27,1999 during The WB Week of Weeks because of The WB promoting the final five episodes of the 3rd Season to air during the month of May 1999 but it ended up being delayed and “Earshot” aired on September 21,1999 at the start of The WB’s Fall 1999 Season as well as two weeks before the season premiere of the 4th Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the series premiere of the spin off series Angel.

@@matthewbaduria I agree, this coming October 6 will mark Roswell’s 25th Anniversary. Roswell was adapted from the book series Roswell High and was a production of Regency Television and 20th Century Fox Television. It was originally offered to FOX Broadcasting but The WB picked it up giving the show a full 22 episode first season.
