Thanks for the video.. what does power shift mean and do. How does the tranny work. Thanks
Absolutely gorgeous I love it.
Yep China boat. OE Controller and remote alone 5k, and wiring harness unavailable. It is impossible to only buy domestic products in America anymore. You should probably get off your high horse when you go in walmart.
Umm they are all from China buddy
Heating it up like that doesn't expand the threaded hole, it actually makes it smaller, but it works because the two metals are heated unevenly which brakes the corrosion and rust bonding them together. Heating the sensor would be worse but likely still work to break it free, it is the temperature differential that matters.
Betty Davis Eyes, song I hear. When she looks, behind stuff. FANTASTIC ❤❤❤❤YOU
I know about hydraulics and Diesel then I do about what makes horses White but I know they're not albino that I can see
Beautiful girl...❤
That would work good for motorcycle steering stem bearings
Well done.
Cool
Hola
Thank you for your knowledge and video's USA 🇺🇸 TRUMP
Glad you enjoyed it. I like sharing what I have learned and been taught over the years.
Good work bro 👍
Thanks ✌️
Well done. Normally I like to put two nuts instead of one, but your has worked, as we can see, the operator is a grease maniac…
With this 17 ton press I have never had it pull the threads on the nut or the B7 rod. I use a lock nut because it already has a bevel.
I love the sound of that engine.
6.0 Yea! Powerstroke
Literal headaches😂
LoL
Run just a little too long
Thank God all the new design technology and education and better and better manufacturing processes we have has translated into more and more reliable equipment at lower operating and maintenance cost. And its simple enough for anyone to diagnose an repair now too. Thats progress.
I like sarcasm !
What a waist of money.. just tightin it up
That was the point, tightening it up is all it took to make it run. No parts were used in this repair.
I run into this on trucks all the time
Unnecessary. A big Cresent wrench does the trick every time.
I didn't even think about that !!! I have a 24" adjustable. I will try that on the next one.
If you’re talking about the adjustable then you’re crazy, they suck ass and unless you intend on having a high possibility of stripping your nut, i would just get the right size wrench for the job and you’ll have it in the future, an adjustable creasent wrench has no place in a mechanic shop, they are too unreliable, i wish they weren’t cause id use them more often but unfortunately its not like that
@VC-TV Not true. I use them all the time on rusted oxygen sensors. No effort at all, they come right out. A regular wrench will strip them if it's rusted.
@VC-TV Try it before you call me crazy. Not your old rusty crescent wrench at the bottom of your toolbox. Get a new BIG crescent wrench, and they come out with no effort at all. Get back with me when you try it.
Where do you live? I replaced these sensors for my grandpa out in Vegas and they came out really easy, but mine here in Colorado were a nightmare from years of being bathed in mag chloride and salt. It makes a huge difference doing anything under a car
what was it buried in the ground for twenty years! 😂
The Engine? It came out a log skidder . But yea it was nasty😂
That's one of the easiest access 02 sensors I've ever seen. Also there's not a lick of rust of that vehicle. Didn't work on a 2005 GMC Yukon (last O2 I did) the ol girl has 300k kms and was from the Yukon originally which is ironic. She was from way up north right beside Alaska. I ended up putting a 90° spacer then another o2 sensor spacer so I can access the downstream later in this same fashion because it's on top of the exhaust in an indent. I used ATF/acetone mix as penetrate after trying heat just like that except with a propane torch then cut the wire to put a socket on the bish, cut down a ratchet to fit up there so I could tap it with a 3lb hand sledge.
I agree large amounts of rust and lack of access complicate things. It has to do with the procedure and timing, if all becomes equally heated it will remain stuck. That video was in real time. We are fortunate to not have to deal with much rust here.
@@widespreadmechanic sorry if I seemed like an arsehole but I was just frustrated seeing how easy that was. I live pretty far north in Canada and usually work on older vehicles with a fair bit of rust. I made the mistake of heating everything on my first tricky 02 years ago and realized after the fact you want to heat up the exhaust not the sensor so the exhaust expands making it easier to break loose the sensor. Not everyone can put two and two together so this is a really great video for someone to come across to learn that. Still frustrates the fuck outta of me seeing something come off that easy 🤣.
All good , I did not take any offense
I would be so tempted to unscrew it after I broke it lose 😂
Awsome work my dude
Thanks!
