I believe the Ironhead Sportster and Shovelhead engines are the most handsome of all Harley Davidson engines. This specimen looks excellent. I ride a '79 FXEF Shovel and a Low Rider S 117. Two different animals, but equally satisfying.

You need to get heated snowmobile gloves. They’re battery powered and will keep your hands warm. I ride a Harley in the middle of winter in Colorado and never have an issue with cold hands or feet (heated socks also).
