@Laikalister his airtricks are to sparatic and fast. Also some of his regular swing animations look a bit too expressive

@@Meaburr I see, I agree with the airtricks. The new airtrick animations are good but I feel like they don't blend well with older airtricks. The transition between doing them and then swinging immediately after feels and looks janky sometimes

No lmfao, not even close. MKX is almost 10 years old, the most recent MK movie that came out was in 2021 and that character you’re thinking of is Cole young. He’s an original character specifically made for the movie.

@@Heyyouhello950 Not really, they feel completely different to Ellie and Abby. First off movement feels different with any character that isn't Abby or Ellie. Mainly due to the fact that the motion matching technique isn't used on these characters because they weren't meant to be playable in the first place so moving around feels slightly odd. Secondly they all have different animations, and sure they might share some reused animations but they aren't just carbon copies of Ellie or Abby. Also btw just say Women and not wmn, no one abbreviates women like cause I had no idea what you were trying to say the first time lmao

@@Laikalister have u not played the last of us 1 with Joel go back the play the that game with Joel then come back and play as Abby then go in no return and play as Joel. Joel is literally skinned over Abby he even run like her

You can... its the thing I do the most in this video, you can literally swing between cars if you time it right. Swing assist off completely gets rid of the floating handicap they enable by default, allowing you to swing as low as you want, that is without hitting the ground. Here are a few examples 0:36 - 5:40 - 7:04 - 7:32 - 8:48

I never understood that saying in the first game and in SMM cause I never really felt like I was the one in control. With this game I get it now, Being able to finally swing low knowing I could mess up at anytime. Each swing giving me a rush of dopamine after pulling off near misses

oh it definitely is, got tired of the original after a few years. Swinging was great in that game but a lot of the time it didn't really feel like I was actually swinging. In this game it definitely does I'd go to say it rivals Spider-Man 2 (2004) mainly only because its more modern, also nice pfp. ​@@LaikalisterThanks though the pic is pretty much from Naughty Dog promotional material for TLOU 2 so nothing original lol. Anyway I really liked the first two Insomniac games but more so for the combat (have a couple of Miles Morales videos myself) rather than swinging which feels way too limited after a while in contrast to combat which is awesome imo. Spidey 2 swinging looks promising (and this video is the first one that impressed me!) but still feels like Insomniac could have gone a lot more creative with it for the more sandbox side of the experience.

I recommend turning it completely off, gives you complete control. But if you don't feel like smacking into the ground constantly ( which is apart of the fun ) just turn it up to 1 and that will only keep the floating mechanic on so you'll never hit the ground but still have complete control over everything else

You just hold circle and move in the direction you want to go, it’s the tether mechanic but you can use it for poles or anything that isn’t too wide to swing around and gain speed

it rains multiple times but there are two different times of day for rain so I'm not sure tbh but this one is nearing the end of the game
