After researching Henley and Frey I'll never look at the Eagles the same. They were overloaded with talent, excluding the two just mentioned. Randy Meisner, Bernie Leadon, Don Felder. Legends. Frey started the band through advice of Linda Ronstadt. He was not a leader. Never was. He hired Henley as a drummer in the beginning. Henley sensed weakness in Frey and seen the opportunity to jump in and "take the tiger by the tail",,,,,, of which he did. The opportunity the Eagles had for a harmonious relationship together, went down the drain with Henley pulling the strings behind the curtain. Glen Frey even said "No one can suck the fun out of a room faster than Don Henley. That was probably the smartest thing he ever said. Legendary talent was abused and discarded like a cheap rug. The Eagles were great. I loved the Eagles music, but can you even imagine how much more great they would have been without DH. Money and greed along with a terrible personality,,, all rolled into one package. I want to acknowledge Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmidt in closing. Great musicians. Very very talented. Legends as well. Thanks for reading.

Randy can sing in different styles, rockpop,R&B,country, he is an allround singer, really amazing. What a big lost for the Eagles when he left them. That was their biggest mistake to let him go.He can play with many musicians. He is a wonder! And he is so relaxed when he can sing himself. Love this special man RANDY. RIP ❤

Isn't it funny how ex-Eagles Randy & Don Felder always look happy to be performing their songs, whereas in recent years, Don Henley always looks pissed off that he's having to sing to put a few thousand dollars into his back pocket.

Too bad Paul Cotton wasn't in this incarnation of the band, he and Rusty's vocals complemented each other. Prefer Paul's vocals on the studio version. Still a great live version though.
