This was my first Utah game. Incredible game!

This game was me and my now wife's first date! ... she grew up near Fresno but after this game she was a Utes fan thru an thru!!

@yellowbellyslim, Blah, blah, blah. Stop making excuses because you couldn't beat the Utes that year. Utah proved that they were clearly the better team that season. And Utah got passed TCU's #1 rated defense. If TCU was really the better team, then they would have been able to make the plays and stops in the 4th qtr. when it mattered the most.

Those 2 FGs the TCU kicker missed were chip shots. He makes one of those and Utah might not have won. So I think it's safe to say that Utah had this game gift wrapped and given to them. In any case, I think it's pretty clear after today's game who the better team has been these last 3 years.

TCU obviously wasn't the better team you dope. If they were they would have put a stop to Utah's 80 yard drive, made their field goals and surely would have completed at least one pass in their final drive.

That Pass Inf call on Sanders was BS the ball was headed out of bounds. TCU was way better than Utah this game. If you don't believe me google (TCU vs. Utah 2008 Box Score). Missed field goals killed TCU. Utah will get rolled in 2010 like they did last year in Ft. Worth.

@BenFongTorrez As an Alabama fan, It's no doubt in my mind that Utah that year was a much better team than Alabama. I probably couldn't say that about 2009 or 2010, but 2008 Utah was legit. 2010 Utah is looking sharp too. A potential BCS Buster if they can defeat TCU and remain undefeated.

I'll never forget this game. Never screamed my guts out so loud at a football game, only at the Sugar Bowl did I come as close. Perfect season and BCS berth on the line, no good drives all game, all to come down to a beautiful 80 yard TD drive to ignite absolute pandemonium in the stands.

Utah is one of my favorite non-BCS teams. Even as a Bama fan, I respect them. They beat us and they deserved the win! I apologize for being a fool to think they couldn't be Alabama.

It wasn't unexpected, and frankly not a big deal. I guess beating the shit out of Alabama in their own backyard will just have to be enough.

Wrong. 5 teams Utah played went to bowl games (Colorado St, Air Force, BYU, TCU, Oregon St) and three of those team are going to finish ranked in the top 25, meaning Utah beat four teams this year that will finish the season ranked. Alabama beat two teams (Ole Miss, UGA) that will finish ranked. Look, I don't make up the SOS, take it up with CBSSportsline. Also, for once these debates are backed up by an actual meeting on the field, where Utah clearly proved it is the better team.

Fair enough, but according to CBSSportline, Utah, TCU and Alabama played similar schedules, strengthwise, so I think you can compare the stats, to a degree. SOS - Bama 63, Utah 57, TCU 42. I agree it's a close game into the fourth quarter, and will not be the blowout most Bama fans think it will be (Utah isn't Hawaii 2007 as some like to think).

I agree, but you might have it backwards, Bama ain't no TCU. You do realize TCU was #1 in the country in rush D and #2 in total D as well as scoring D. They were in the top 10 in virtually every defensive category while rushing and passing for more yards than Bama and scoring more points per game than Bama. You're absolutely right, I'd rather be playing Bama than TCU again.

Wow what incredible analysis to back up your prediction, thanks for contributing nothing to my comment section. The truth is Utah and Alabama are very evenly matched. Both score in the 30s (Utah 37 ppg, Bama 31) and give up ponts in the teens (Utah gives up 17 ppg, Bama 13). And as for Bama's "tough SEC schedule", SOSs for the two are very close, some sites (CBSSportsline for one) have Utah playing a tougher schedule. It should be a good game, and the Utes have an excellent chance to win.

Yawn, call me when BYU plays in a bowl game after Christmas. BYU is irrelevant in the grand scheme that is college football, while Utah is on its way to BCS Bowl win #2. If you're going to comment on my videos try to conceal your BCS envy, it's embarrassing.
