@@DebankurMandal-y6z the wd drive is marginally faster than the aorus. Their life expectancy is about the same, you get one extra year warranty on the Aorus if you register it on their website. I'd say either of them is a solid purchase.

they're pretty much the same, very slight advantage for the 850x at random reads due to the proprietary wd controller

@@panicSesh see if u can run the i9 at 4.9 or 5ghz all core for a start. And then, watch a Buildzoid video on how to tighten your ddr4 timings, you'll definitely squeeze a lot more performance from your system. The 9900k is a great cpu but it is a bit of a bottleneck on a 3090 class GPU.

The cpu was always around its max clock (~5GHz), the GPUs always at max boost, the GPU utilization always ~100%. Why do you think something is wrong?

does lossless scaling work on any gpu?

For 1080p it's gonna be great, at 1440p you're going to have to play at medium-high, depending on the game.

Titan XP will run anything fine as long as it doesn’t have ray tracing baked into the game (can’t turn it off) as it doesn’t have the rt cores to run it, so games like Alan wake run like shit no matter what settings you use. Everything else will still run great.

For gaming at 1080p it's plenty fast. If you can live with medium-high at 1440p, it's also adequate. For anything other than gaming (cuda, creative stuff, ai) then HELL YEAH.

Boost clock is at 1582MHz as per nvidia specs.

with slight undervolt I am pinned at 1970-80mhz peaking at 75c, however I refreshed thermal paste as well

@@UnmotivatedTechToober nvidia boost allows the gpu to go all the way to 1911 on pascal based on temp fan and power having old paste will also make it closer to 1582 1582 is the grantee speed it will boost to pascal will run mostly around 1800s my titan xp boost to 1911 with my custom aio on it with a overclco it'll hit 2000 but boost allows it to basically self overclcok

@user-yb4uq2ug2w that's very good clocks with no oc you should definitely try to overclcok it if your comfortable with it it'll probably go pretty high

@@glown2533 due to the extra power draw and heat, the card ends up, throttling a little lower than my undervolt speeds when overcooking, as it’s a blower card it just isn’t great at cooling and is very loud so the undervolt actually gives me the best performance!

Nope, the 9900k is untuned but could definitely squeeze a lot more fps from lowering trfc alone. Very good chip, can still mostly drive a 3090 at 5ghz with a minimal bottleneck.

@@UnmotivatedTechToober you've got decent ram. Tune it out for extra 7-15% gain from subtimings alone :)
