in case anyone wants an equation that can play this (except for the repeated notes near the end, the "dun dun dun dun Dun Dun Dun Dun", here you go. define: i(x)=1/2(sign(x)+1) r(x,a,b)=i(x-a)-i(x-b) then this equation is: y=2r(x,0,4)+r(x,4,8)+2r(x,16,20)+r(x,20,24)+r(x,40,48)+2r(x,48,52)+r(x,52,56) challenge problem: create a fourier series of this from 0 to 72, so when you play it there's a smoother transition between notes and it repeats with period 72 also if you type the equation into desmos and it sounds like its the wrong pitch, the pitch scales with what you set your y-axis scale factor to (ie, just stretch or shrink the y-axis)

I would like to throw it out there, that there is a Minecraft modpack called GreedyCraft that uses quite a few of the soundtracks from Tales of the Cruel World as boss themes. It's what brought me here since I poked around in the music files and looked them up. This is a fantastic recreation of this, and honestly Universal Collapse is undoubtedly my favorite of the OST. So congrats on a perfect recreation.
