Very rightly said Father. We need more priests like you to educate ignorant Christians about the great prophet who paved the way for Jesus and pointed to Him as the Lamb of God. I wonder how many Christians really honour St. John the Baptist by going to church on his feast day.

Good sermon Parish priests are taken away with funs and dance in the Church premises with rains dance, hugs and kisses etc besides wine and drinks. Religious leaders should take note of such unwanted celebrations. I congratulate Fr. Cyprian Silva, Taleigao church for his Vociferous stand.

It’s so shameful thing to think. We Goans or I will say Goan families want rain dance or go for rain dance on John the Baptist feast! It doesn’t matter if we get wet!
