Taiwan Round Island Tour - Day 5 to Kaohsiung
- Morning breakfast at nearby market after checked out, we had duck noodle, seafood sporridge and pork ball noodle. super affordable, at around 70twd each.
- first check point tainan taiwan history musuem. very nice and modern building with story of taiwan.
- stopped when we saw 牛肉湯. famous food in tainan. had one soup each. i like the soup even its not beefy. yoong likes malaysian one better.
- We stopped by bball court before arrive hotel at kaohsiong, play 2 on 2 with a local guy, just 2 ball to win. yoong passed 1 ball, wei chyi 1 airball, me 1 assist. we have to rush.
- night kaohsiong trip, went to 巨蛋 shopping mall. hungry, went into japanese supermarket Lopia naturally , and had sushi...

Took train to Tainan for only 38 twd per person single trip. Taxi driver recommended 国华 street for food. Busy street but most stalls/shops close by night time. Good stroll at few historical streets before we head back to LongTian by train and stayed at cigerette chamber.

Body felt fresh in the morning but feet still sore, initial plan was to do 80km today. weichyi suggested to go for tainan (100 km) the way so that we can stay at least once at city. We pushed mileage, by 1pm we already did 80 reached small town longtian. my feet started to feel funny and heart rate resting slow at hot and sunny weather. Flat road all the way with tail wind. started early and reached yuanlin early by 12. Had ramen, stroll around town, had pepper biscuit which was nice. Continued 20km to Xiluo for a stay. Need to pass thru a 70 year old red steel bridge before reaching there. Night time stopped by the town, had beef noodle. Left feet slightly sore at the left side of ankle hope its not a problem, we are only 1/4...

Warm and sunny with tail wind which helped on chasing back some milage. Home stay with washing machine, time to do some laundry.

Day one with many hiccups. Go through thousands of traffic lights, had first puncture on day 1, got lost etc. Sky got dark early and we need to commit to go to LongTan except we dont know the way. Police pointed us to sloppy climb and random aunty saved the day.
