I have learned of Mr Bonhoeffer's story but why are they asking and a man of god of himself trying to take out a evil man who killed millions and millions of people women men and children and babies and they took away his rights and they brutally murdered him because he wouldn't submit to their oath and because he stood up to their evil actions continue to rest in peace Mr Bonhoeffer and the other victims who were wrongfully executed for no reason at all. Thank you, Michelle, and greetings from San Salvador, El Salvador. My husband’s brother was already a cancer patient when he read the biography in Spanish of Bonhoeffer. Mauricio recommended the book by Erick Metaxas to several friends. I just found “Agente de Gracia” the movie I had already seen in English but now with Spanish dialogue. My husband watched it with me. Many blessings to you.

What does the life and testimony of Dietrich Bonhoeffer teach us today? I think his life and career summon us to a real, authentic Christian life; to live the life of repentance, conversion, grace and hope. He also summons us to moral courage. We are to be courageous in calling evil by its name and to live the authentic Christian life of truth, holiness and righteousness. He also spoke about "Sanctorum Communio". Christianity is about community. Christians are called to be a church community anchored on love, fellowship and truth. We are to carry our own Cross and follow the Lord, no matter where this leads us. His message is extremely timely for our twenty-first century; at a time when love and faith of many has grown cold. Well done Michelle!

From Canada. Interesting that Bonhoeffer's history is surfacing at this time. I have just been reading his book titled: The Cost of Discipleship" Personal and edifying! = not many copies left...so they tell me.

Thank you for this. Bonhoeffer is one of the true heroes who followed in Christ's footsteps without compromising to the world. I just hope and pray that the church today will wake up and stop compromising...
