Thanks for this video! I'm a pastor in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, on the border with the USA. Next week, I'll be starting my third Alpha course in my parish, San Juan Bosco. I've also noticed that one of the biggest challenges is engaging members from other ministries within the parish. In our previous two Alpha courses, we had around 60 participants. It's a great tool for growing our parish.

Great video and audio quality. The delivery of the message is also great, this is the type of content and savvy individuals we need to get the message into the earshot of this century

What you said about inviting people to Alpha reminded me of an encounter with another young male associate of mine, Emmett Slater from Gorey, whom I would have invited to our recent parish Tent of Welcome if I had another opportunity. This would have been different than talking about drinking, gymming, and girls! I pray to meet him again sometime. Here in Ireland, you might have heard of Rev Billy Swan. Saint Benedict’s had the best Alpha ever. I had already endured Nick Gumble(?) at two Alphas, and made up my mind, never again. My church friends wanted me to go. For me Alpha was for people who are atheists. But, then I heard all these testimonies at the end of masses leading up to their next Alpha, before the final blessing and to go out and share the Gospel/ the Good News at Saint Bendict’s. I went to Sunday evening masses. I had just started going to mass there a few months before the testimonies. And those testimonies were so powerful that I decided I HAD to check out this Alpha. Well, it was a different experience, not like any of the Alpha’s I went to. I hope it is still as good and fantastic, in 2024.

"In Jesus, the untouchable God touches the untouchable. In that touch there is an exchange…we gain life…He takes on our impurity. Let us reach out Him…to the riches of His love, grace, healing and cleansing…the touch will bring Wholeness and Holiness."

Why does Alpha have a crooked Question mark. Why not a question mark straight up?

I was so blessed to be at a wedding, the sacrament of marriage, at Saint Mary’s Basillica on a hot Saturday with a bride and groom I did not know, just basically went to a wedding mass. Father Mallon had the most PERFECT and outstanding homily. I have been to many marriages. No homily will ever come close to Father’s wedding homily mass. I relized The Holy Triniy had a wonderful priest with the intelligence for a profound and absolutely beautiful marriage homily at that marital mass. That was 20 years ago?????? I have been to many marriage masses. Nothing, no homily, even/ever came close to Father Mallon’s (sp?) sacrament of marriage homily, that blessed day, that mass that still stands out in my life, and will always be a gift to me from The Holy Spirit, who took me to that mass. And I have been to many many marriages. Even to other peoples RC marriage mass I didn’t even know.
