I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ruclips.net/user/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.

I must be missing something. Why are so many replies talking about whether multipliers are left or right handed? I cannot see the issue. I am a leftie but as most multipliers are rightie, I learned to use the right handed reels, just like when I started to learn the guitar i learned as a right hander even though I am left dominant. Learn and overcome, what's the issue?

Very poor technique!! No left hand at all. This is Not the way to cast!! Straighten your left arm and learn to pull. Your drop is so short because you only use your right arm. Contact Steve Lewis and ask for a lesson !!

I Want to Remove the Gearbox BUT It Will Not come Down more 10mm = GGGrrr ! 1) Placed Gear-Shift into Neutral, 2) I Removed the 2 Front Nuts & the 3 rear Nuts or Bolts around the Zinc Trim Tab = 5 in Total. 3) I Tried to Pull the Gearbox Down BUT it Only Comes Down 10mm & Will NOT Come Down Any Further. I Don't want to use Force & Cause Damage * I Can't Disconect the Gear Shift Shaft as it is ALL Internal BUT I Can See it's Top Underneath the Carbs.
