Straight bussin at OB. Not the most prime conditions, but not the least!! Managed to find some lively little corners and enjoy the waves. SFOB is my favorite beach on earth. Stay foggy, San Francisco!

Historic is the word many used to describe the anomalous weather system which ripped through across the state of CA to cause this sort of action at Fort Point. Waves were about overhead in the outer cove, but these surfers were brave to tread rocky and dangerous waters that have proven fatal on calmer days. Longtime local. Sure there can be fun served but sure as hell wouldn’t travel far to becoming all the way to Ocean Beach. Maybe in the winter if you’re some charger but give me a break. You better pay your dues to get good days. You better like to paddle and get drilled.part of being an OB surfer. Lots of beat downs like the Rio grand and the peak is always just a little out of reach. Have fun.
Must be great surfing next to flipper, the red kayak guy. He stay hungry for the set wave, but all that flipping and flopping, just take off in front I say

For sure! Nearby Año Nuevo is the epicenter of a massive elephant seal migration, for one thing, so this is like a hunting ground for the Great White population.
Opening shot was definitely a creek that begins with the letter W.
I’ve surfed hundreds of waves at that spot… with a kite. It’s usually nuking wind there.

Getting deep.
OK, no one will believe this, but not all who wander are lost. In summer, when a good 210 swell (a NZ swell) comes from the south, and the negative low tides are in the morning, Fort Point gets really, really, fun. I don't want to debate how a 210 gets in there, but it does, and it only breaks on the inside rocks - no swinger sets, no sets outside the bridge. Take off inside the last rock, and get a fun little 5-10 second ride. It's really the only time the inside break is any good. In winter, wait for the supersize swells and tide near the low but starting to come in and surf outside the bridge, much better wave.
If you’re ever in So Cal & hear the Newport Wedge is 20ft plus go and check the waves breaking INSIDE the harbor entrance. The south jetty gets a wave real similar to this one. They’re technically forbidden by the lifeguards but that’s only when they’re looking. Thanks for the video.

I'm looking at this board and wondering if I should get the 6ft or the 5'10 version. What are the specs of your board?
mine is the 6 footer, but I feel like I could have gone smaller, and the 5'10 is very similar volume because the thickness is the same. The 6 handles big Waves a little better, but is harder to turn I Quad fins than the 5'10. I would say if you are a larger human (big and tall status) and surf larger waves then go for the 6.
Definitely add them, show them, maybe even sell them. The only surfers who dont like them are those that dont have 'em

You have a great intro and the video is well worth watching! Thanks, this spot is one that I'd love to surf if I lived anywhere near there. I also loved how you showed different perspectives of the wave. It helped me understand the type of wave that it is. It would be great if you gave some narration to what you were doing there and why you found it worth posting. I never made use of that when posting my hang gliding videos (all of which I've removed for various reasons) but they would have benefited from personal commentary of some sort to make me more human to the watchers I think. Good job though man, I think you could really build your channel with what I see here and I'm subbing in the hope to see your channel grow!

Howzit!! That's awesome, I actually love it. It's nimble and versatile, so you won't regret it. I haven't met a wave this thing didn't like (at OB and Fort Point). Generates insane speed for groveling, so it can turn a salvage bad surf, but also turns and holds rail on overhead waves. It's addicting at OB! I recommend Twin fins over quads

How does this board feel compared to the JJF by Pyzel? Do you regret the Funformances and think you should have gotten a regular board or do you think they were worth it?
Had the Webber for years, it's magic, but I only bring it out when it's offshore. I use the JJF by Pyzel boards all the time, no regrets!
