Solo is possible, just that you need to hope the guy doesnt use acid rain at a bad time. AT ALL.
Rules: Hardmode, Thrill seeker, Gusto and Double pain. (25% guarding time?, 4x damage and no superguarding)
Both person's build:
15 HP, 20/15 SP
2x cure, resurrect, happy hp, 3x happy sp, safe guard, defender, defend+

How do you get past lvl 100?
I reached mine by running an alt in a friends only room where i have one afk and I play the other with hardkill beanbag, lockpick and zipties. {the reason i do this is because i dont want to be jumpscared by the emmisary since its distracting and causes me to shoot everywhere} also the difficulty is extremity.

no idea, havent tried the new exp change yet the only thing i can say is try not to lose the exp multiplier/bonus
