Today Hope and I are going to attempt to cook in the Coleman camp oven for the very first time. I have never used a camp oven before so I am hoping it works as good as everyone says it does. Daniel and Houston have been using it. Houston has a couple of deer while in it plus a coyote. Plus Gary Walker has that blind also.

He answered that when he said he wondered if the holes that let you see out also allows more of your scent to escape so deer know you are there.

Hello Dutch. I would think that the deer can see movement inside during day light hours where it is open at seams. I seen that in this video. Also I too would be concerned about eating when deer can smell so good and they hear so far away. Especially in the wind. Maybe she should eat before going and then when leaving. Im glad you had a great time even though she didnt get one yet.
You said there was a strap inside. Maybe it’s like an umbrella. First you have to wrap that stripe around the ribs and then it slides into the bag easy.?
Heard reports that blind is not good in wind and leaks when raining.
I have used the blind they do not leak rain and mine stayed set up even during a 50 mph wind

I truly feel sorry for Hope , i wish she would get A Deer !!!! All the fancy deer blinds in the world won't help you if don,t have NO Deer !!! Call Daniel and see if Hope can hunt The Mill Creek Property !!!!

Amazing how soft hunters have got these days. I am an old fart and I would be embarrassed to tell people I hunt in a heated blind over a pile of corn.
Well you can be cold and not embarrassed 🤣 don’t use a rifle either, better hunt only with a long bow that you made and use arrow heads you made.
Looks like a nice roomy tent. Would be like getting caught in a spider web at night if you had to go outside. I like my pyramid tent. One center pole and no ropes.

You did not read the instructions very well. They run at setting that is 4000 . Love mine

When I was a kid, I ordered an "Inflatatent". It was literally like a contractor trash bag with 2 blow up cylinders to make a "V" on the open end, and a length of cord and one stake to hold it upright. It kept the dew off my sleeping bag, but it was far from what I would call a tent!

I got an inflatable tent last summer. I've camped in it twice now. Mine was from Amazon with brand name "Deerfamy". Mine has an inflator inside one of the tubes, you just push the button and 30 seconds later it's inflated!!! (It is recharged via USB, but I've not needed to recharge it yet) And deflating takes about 5 seconds. Mine is 6x6, which works fine for me. I do wish it was 7x7 just because due to the sloping angle of the tent, the ends of my cot pokes into the tent wall a tad. It has a front door & back door + the rain topper. Mine doesn't let light shine out of or into it, which I like so you're not casting your silhouette!!! My 1st camp out had Temps 65° day down to 42° at night. I used a small plug in heater that oscillates blowing the warm air. Which I had to turn down because the tent held the heat fairly well. I've not been in rain, but have no doubts I'd stay dry. Of note I'm a 61 yrs old women with arthritis/hampered mobility and never thought I could camp by myself...but I did! I'm thankful to have found an inflatable tent!!!! I could have managed a small standard tent type, but it would have worn me out to do it.

I saw an inflatable tent on a different channel that was 8 X 10 or may have been bigger. It fit 4 men and still had room, and it had cots and a full-size blow-up bed.
