Finished replacing boards on my Trailer
🎉 thank you so much. This video was a big help. I have a 2011 Honda pilot and I broke my tensioner bolt on the pulley now I have to replace it 188 bucks
I found mine on Amazon for about $35
Litterly bought the worng assembly why tf is there 2 assemblies for the same year. I have a 2007 and the one on my car has that piston thing, the dayco part I got is spring tensioned without that little piston
They make an actual Honda tensioner tool. It's about the same price as this tool here and works wonders much easier and beefier. This specific tool being used in the video is NOT designed for hydraulic tensioners. It's designed for spring loaded ones. Fyi
I did not learn how to change shocks
Like flies, deer flies, flying ants, earwigs, etc etc.... They ALL get naturally worse as the heat goes up and pale back as it gets cooler... We have 2 traps (both at parameter of our frog pond/swamp) and that has been the best location for us so far. We also do the "blue bucket of doom" with goop on it for the deer flies with awesome results for just those.
❤😮❤
wish I had seen this before both of the tensioner bolts broke off! Thanks for the info
Had a mechanic replace the head gasket and head on mine and then it was losing oil. He then claimed my piston rings were bad and was burning oil despite seeing sludge under my car right where the pcv hose is and the car isn’t burning blue smoke…… Seems like I have better diagnosis skills. Anyway, how far do you have to Jack up the car to go under and is it easy to reach in with you arm?
This is where i am at right now.
@@waaboozbudakai3487 How many miles? Mine burns like a quart every 1.5k miles. Its burning past the rings... I know because I have personally taken the cylinder head off to fix a leaking head gasket. But you could also see it with a borescope. The edge of the pistons will be clean from oil coming up past the rings and "washing" the top edge of the piston. Would most likely be accompanied by up and down score marks on the cylinder walls. Once again... a borescope would be able to pick that up when inspecting through the spark plug holes.
@@JrSpitty i literally just changed this last weekend and have gone about 400 miles and my oil is still at a normal level. Before i would burn a quart every 280 miles.
@@waaboozbudakai3487 I am in a similar situation. What exactly did you do?
@@gustavohernandez4967 changed the pcv valve like in this video.
Awesome video you make it look easy, thank you
Now I'm interested on what happened after.
Sorry video
I own a propane grill and pit boss rancher XL i love both of my grills. Each of them have their pros and cons and own applications I definitely love my pellet grill. I still looking to purchase a true offset smoker for a full smoke meat experience, like i said each cooking system has his own benefit
Beautiful
I love that slicer!
Do you put rtv on both sides of the gaskets? and what type of RTV are you using?
Pobre cabra
PCV means positive crankcase ventilation.
Good morning Chris , well that was pretty cool to see! And the temps there must have gotten really cool for that to happen so quick!
It’s been a strange fall… warm cold warm cold warm cold. Not sure how that affects the ice, but it sure did!
was this horse broke before this video?
I was told she was broke to harness, that was a lie though.
@countrychris well you did good..I just got a horse that is half Fjord - and they are probably almost born broke lol not that you had a super easy go but better than most breeds I imagine
@@faithfarmforever4795 well she never stopped that particular behaviour. Every time she was harnessed or saddled, that’s how she behaved. Eventually sold her as a lawn ornament.
Most species deposit their eggs around ponds, streams or swamps on overhanging vegetation such as grasses or cattails. Yellow flies congregate in shaded, humid areas on the edges of forests, rivers and creeks, avoiding large, open, sunny areas.
Good fucking job on showing how to actually fix the Honda pilot tensioner pulley. It's the best video on RUclips. I am very happy to have ran across your video. Once again good job.👍
Thanks!
I am thinking that you might be right about the head gasket possibly leaking. Seems odd that the car is leaking oil and using coolant too. I know that Subaru had big problems with oil and coolant leaks at the same time from head gasket issues. But you might be lucky and find a bad cam seal? But then there is still the question of where the coolant is disappearing to! One thing for sure is that when it comes to automobiles there is always something that needs tinkering! Good luck Chris. 👍
I think that everything looks real good Chris. I am looking forward to seeing the truck reassembled! 👍
Thanks Richard me too!!!
Nice man
Thanks
Wow, that does look like a new truck inside. You're a talented man and the patina on the mirror is excellent. Well done.
Thanks
Yep my 74 C10 still has the factory shocks just like yours with the washer on the outside top..
Chevy THUNDER! Your truck is looking good Chris , I can see that you are getting anxious to get it done and on the road. 👍
Haha! Thanks! Yes!!!!! It’s TIME!!!!
Looks real good to me , especially for your first time doing upholstery.
Thanks Richard!!
Interesting , I guess that the water is the attraction? I had my first horse fly bite last week mowing. I end up with a welt the size of a dime , they can really cause a severe allergic reaction for some people. Thanks Chris , have an awesome weekend! 👍
Oh, wow! That sucks. I’ve never had a reaction to bite but they do hurt.
Good to see you on a vlog.
Thanks!
Thank you man about 17 mm bolt need to be loosen in order to move the tensioner
WOW! The frame on the truck looks like brand new! You are coming along nicely Chris , thumbs UP!! 👍
Thanks Richard!
@@countrychris You are very welcome , I had an older Chevy like yours. I wish that I still had the truck. I look forward to seeing your progress Chris you're doing a good job.
WELL DONE
Thanks
I broke both those false hex bolt slots in the tensioner 😂, which I knew I had to loosen the 17mm first.
Oh man! That sucks!
My ac compressor just locked up on mine and snapped my tensioner pulley where that 17 mm middle bolt is idk if it bolts up to the head or ac bracket or what
I have broken 2 of them bad boys… I thought i was doing something wrong i had tightened that 17 mm all the way up before i put the belt on smh🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️‼️ thank u man u are definitely a life saver
Good Job Chris. That style universal joint is a pain to do and can be quit stinky when heated to get that injected plastic out that holds the caps in place! Looks like the old one may have been going squeak squeak LOL . Have a good day and think spring! ☀
Ya that sucker sure stank!!! And surprisingly it didn’t make any noise… so strange. I just noticed because I replaced the transmission in our suburban.
Obviously the little Donkey needs to get out in a open space where it can RUN FREELY!
Yes!! we had them outside a lot over the weekend when it was mild! Donkeys are susceptible to pneumonia, so we have to be really careful in the cold weather
@@countrychris LOL , I too want to get out and run free! Every body is anxious for warmer weather. 👍☀. The days are getting longer , it is coming!

LOL , yes she might lick somebody to death!
Haha! Right!?
Awesome! He is happy, healthy and having fun! Life is good!
Jesus rode a colt. Its tooo cute.
Nice living room but where is the pig
Where did you get the gaskets?
RockAuto I believe
Hey thanks !!! You fucked me.. you said it takes a 19mm twice in your video and it's actually an 18 mil socket. But hey I just stripped both aluminum fittings on the belt tensioner trying to put pressure on it. Next time you make a video and say what you're using, state the right fucking tool and correct size. After I hammered an 18mm on and went to the autoparts store to get a tensioner tool and opened it, only then I realized they don't even offer a 19mm socket in the parts box. Fuckin tool... I'm talking about you, not the socket.
What's your technique on getting the rear tail housing off Mines a 4x4 sm465
When I saw the video title I was thinking , "oh Chris is going to paint his old Chevy truck" . Boy was I wrong LOL.. That was a real good start and you did not get thrown off "not on camera anyways" HAHAH ! Doing good Chris and Paint was very good for her first time! 👍

Where cam i get a back bumper like that
Not sure… any auto body shop may be able to help you
Yup Jorden is right, I have no friends 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️, hey you guys made it look very easy
Lol!!!! I love you! Ya it worked out okay
